Who am I as a writer?

Think about who you are as a writer. Answer the following questions and explain your thinking.


1.  Where do I like to write? (favorite spot)

I like to write at different spots but i like to write in a quiet room at my desk.I also like to write under a tree by myself. 2.I like to write with pencil so i can erase my mistakes. 3. i love to write many things but I love to write poems and stories about my life. 4. I like to write fiction and non-fiction because fiction you can write about dragons and myths but i like non- fiction because I can see whats happening in the world. 5.I like the week jr. me and Olivia both have the week jr. I like all of the facts, jokes, and games. 6.I like my china article because on one the computers I got to search about different types of music. 7.I have a lot but one of my favorite is j.k. Rowling. 8. Sometimes my teacher and my parents. 9. a book that inspires me is each kindness not just for the kindness but also the writing because when I look at that book I think that when I will write I will think of any way I could inspire other writers. 10. I don't really use and resources but I do sometimes use something I could squish when I am stuck. 11. I write a lot about poem and things that happen everyday.

  3. 1. My favorite place to write is in my bedroom because I can write at my chair or my desk. 2. I like to write with gel pens because they write very smoothly. I also use pencils. 3.I like to write about a lot of things but one of my favorite is fictional stories that I wrote myself. 4. I like to write fiction because I love being creative and using my imagination. 5. I really love to read the week Jr. 6. I think my favorite is the piece that I wrote about bunnies in I think second grade. 7. I really enjoy reading Mo Willams and Arnold Lobel. Their books are very enjoyable and teach good life lessons. 8. Mostly my mom, Sometimes my dad and very rare, my grand parents. 9. I think that Be Kind and All Are Welcome are very inspiring. :D 10. I sometimes like to use a really good stress ball called a Nee Doh and I really love them and they feel great!!! 11. I try to write about different things so they don't all sound like the same story.

    2. I like to write and sketch with a pencil in my notebook.
    3. My favorite things to write are poems.
    4. I like to write fiction stories about fairies.
    5. My favorite book is Monster High, Monster Rescue, Go Get Twyla because I like how detailed the book is and I can relate to the characters.
    6. My favorite piece of writing is when I wrote about my fifth birthday party at Michaels.
    7. I really enjoy poems by Shel Silverstein because he gives good descriptions of the things he's writing about.
    8. My teachers and my parents help me with my writing.
    9. The book "Blended" inspired me because it taught me that if you try hard you can get through tough situations.
    10. One resource I rely on is my past experiences since I like to write about my special memories.
    11. I usually write about lots of different topics.

  10. My favorite spot from the class room is the chair and I like to write nonfiction. My sister helps me with my writing sometimes. My favorite piece of writing is where you tell a story. I write a lot of ideas in my Writer's Notebook. My favorite things to write about are sports and video games. Tools I use are a pencil and colors to be focused. The book Gingerbread gives me ideas for good writing and my favorite author is the guy that made the book gingerbread.

  11. I like to write in bed. I use my computer and notebook. I like to write about my home and family. I like to write both fiction and nonfiction. My favorite piece of writing is Dog Man. My favorite piece of writing that I wrote is my poem. Dav Pilkey is a mentor for my writing. My moms helpp me with my writing. Harry Potter inspires me as an example of good writing. I ask my moms and look at the PC as resources. I write about one topic in my notebook.

  12. I write at the dining table. I use a pencil to write. My favorite thing to write about is cats. I like to write nonfiction. My favorite piece of writing is Keeper of the Lost City. My favorite piece of writing I wrote is my Devon Rex cat article. Shannon Messenger is my favorite author. My mum and dad help me with my writing. Keeper of the Lost City inspires me because it has a lot of big words that mean small things and I used to like stories about fairies because they were fun. I use Google to help me with my writing. One topic I have been writing about is cats.

  13. I like to write on the couch. A tool I like to use is just looking at stuff. I like to write about magic, animals and unicorns :) I prefer to write fiction. My favorite book is a series called Warriors. My favorite piece of writing that I wrote is Monster in the Mirror. Erin Hunter is a mentor to me in my writing. My mom helps me with my writing. Warriors, Nevermoore and Aru Scha inspire me as examples of good writing. I use books to help me in my writing. I write about many different topics.

  15. I like to write in a chair in the dining room. I am fine with using a pen or a pencil. I write about dogs, cats, nature and people in my heart. I prefer to write fiction and nonfiction because both of them you really get to emerge yourself and discover new worlds. My favorite book is the Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane written by Kate DiCamillo. My favorite piece of writing is an article that I wrote about the human. My favorite author is Kate DiCamillo. Usually my mom helps me with my writing. She always helps me. Tales of a fourth grade nothing gives a good example for good writing. The resource that I use is a computer to get info. I write about a lot of different topics because when you look back you're not looking at the same thing.

  17. I like to write in my room on my bed. I use another book to help me in my writing. I like to write about my week and my day. I like fiction because it's animation. I like a book called Just Like Me. My favorite piece of writing that I wrote is called The Read Heads. My favorite author is Vanessa Brantly-Newton. My mom helps me with my writing. A book that inspires is She Persisted Around the World. I use concentration and focus. I write a little bit about many topics.

  18. My name is Benjamin Braxton and this is who I am as a writer. My favorite writing spot is the couch. Some of the tools I use to write are a pencil, eraser and a notebook. My favorite kind of writings I like to do is writing about the events in my day. I also like to write other non-fiction. My favorite kind of books are graphic novels, the ones that I have at home are really funny. My favorite piece of writing is my personal narratives from 3rd grade for Ms. Megan and Ms. Lindsey. My cousin Gabby helps me with writing Right now my favorite author is Dav Pilkey. He makes funny books that inspire me to write like Captain Underpants. The resources I use to write are books, articles and personal experiences. I write a lot about many different topics but personal narratives are my favorite.
