Bud, not Buddy and Becoming Naomi Leon are similar because Naomi and Bud both are looking for their fathers. Bud,not Buddy and Becoming Naomi Leon are different because Naomi’s father knows Naomi and Bud’s father never saw Bud. Also Bud, not Buddy and Becoming Naomi Leon are similar because they both live in a poor place. Bud,not Buddy and Becoming Naomi Leon are different because Naomi lives with her grandmother and Bud lives with Lefty Lewis.

DeleteI think that Bud, Not Buddy and becoming Naomi Leon are similar because they have family's that are all mixed up and weird.In Bud's family his mom is dead and never met his dad.In Naomi's family they have a mom who is on drugs and a father they have not seen in 7 years.Both family's are separated.

DeleteBud not Buddy and Rules are alike because Bud and Catherine have rules to survive, or not to get in trouble. Also they don't really communicate with adults. Bud not Buddy and Becoming Naomi Leon aren't alike because Naomi's parents are still alive, but Bud's mom is dead. Also Naomi lives with a family but Bud doesn't.
ReplyDeleteI think Bud, Not Buddy and Becoming Naomi Leon are similar becsuse they both have angels in their life. In Becoming Naomi Leon her angels are: Mr. Marbles, Santiago, Blanca, and others.

The differences from the book Bud, Not Buddy and Becoming Naomi Leon are: their angels are different, and they help them in different ways. Mr. Marbles from Becoming Naomi Leon helps Naomi by letting her eat in the library even though she's not allowed to. Mr. Marbles lets her do that because she feels like she doens't "FIT IN" with all of the other kids. Mr. Marbles also writes a letter to the judge at the Court saying that she should stay with her grandmother. And on the other hand Lefty Lewis from Bud, Not Buddy helps Bud by letting him crash at his place, and he is going to drive Bud to Grand Rapids.

DeleteBud not,buddy and Becoming Naomi Leon are alike because Bud had a mother but she died at a very young age. Naomi has a mother that is a person that is on drugs. Naomi's father, Santiago, left them at a very young age. This shows that they are having a very difficult life.

Bud has a mother that is dead, and a Dad that has no real relationship with him, and Naomi has an alcoholic Mother and a Dad that has ran away from her mother. Naomi and Bud are different because Naomi has lots of people supporting her while Bud doesn't have much. Naomi has Gram,Owen,Fabiola,Bernardo and a lot of other friends on her side,while Bud only has Bugs,who,by the way, went away from Bud,and Lefty Luis,who he will probably not stay with.

ReplyDeleteI think that some simalarites is that both Naomi and Bud both had problems with their mom and dad. Naomi's father had run from fear and Bud's father just wasn't there for him. MOTHERS. Naomi's mother was actually on drugs and Bud's mother was dead when bud was 6.
ReplyDeleteI think simalarites between bud not buddy and rules is they always feel embarassed in some differnt way. I say this because bud was embarassed when lefty lewis never new bud ,so bud told him a lie.In rules catherine gets embarassed because David yells and she gets really embarassed.

What's not the same is that Bud is in a orphanage and Naomi doesn't live in a orphanage she lives in a trailer. another thing that is the same is that they are both looking for their father and something bad happened to their mother.

Bud has rules for having a funnier life and making a better lair out of yourself and Catherine has rule s for David so she doesn't have to deal with him. Also I think Naomi and bud both are creative. Naomi makes soap carvings and bud makes up things like vampires when he is scared. Naomi and bud also have in common that they are brave because Naomi stands up for Owen,gram and herself and bud is running away from his home.i also think Naomi and Catherine are the same because they are both shy but Naomi is shy because of her mother and Catherine is shy because she doesn't want to be embarrassed.

ReplyDeleteI think that Bud and Catherine are different because Catherine has a brother that has autism and Bud doesn't any siblings. The only thing that he had that was close to a brother was his friends, Jerry and Bugs. Catherine also likes to draw things and bud does not. He likes to joke around even when he might get in trouble for it. I think that they are the same when it comes to their feelings, they both like to keep their feelings in and not tell anybody. Also, Bud has a suitcase that has his mother's stuff and he keeps it safe. Catherine on the other hand has a notebook that she draws in and writes down rules in for David to follow.
ReplyDeleteBud, Not Buddy and Becoming Naomi Leon are similar because Bud and Naomi are both brave. Naomi is brave because she has to deal with an alcoholic mother. And Bud is brave because he lives at the time of the Depression, and he just ran away from his third foster home trying to find his father. At that time it was dangerous because the police could catch him. Bud, Not Buddy and Becoming Naomi Leon are different because at Bud's life time it was even more dangerous then in Naomi's life time. Because in Naomi's life time it wasn't as dangerous.

The different thing about Naomi is that Skyla left Naomi 7 years ago. And Skyla is on alcohol which causes a lot of problems.
