1. I like to write in a train and a plane. Because I love writing well I am going super fast.

4. I love to write about the Beatles because they make great music and I love to write about it. It is so good and I have so many ideas about them.
5. I like a lot of books but the Human Body Theater book just stands out to me because it is a graphic novel and its a nonfiction book. It's mixed up together and it's really cool. It makes a great book.
6. I think that the feature article on giant pandas. Because it turned out so great. There were pictures and I think it gave a pretty good description. I was pretty proud of myself when it was done.
7.Well I have a lot of very good authors but one is Nathan Hale because he makes a great story and it is a graphic novel. I love how the author wrote those books, there is always action, so I can't stop reading. I always want to know what is going to happen next.

I looove to write poetry and lists and also graphs because I love rhyming silly words in poetry and racking my brain for things to add onto my lists, plus I love looking around me and observing the place around me and sometimes I like to record it with a graph.
I like to write fiction because it’s fun to put my imagination to work, plus I don’t really like researching topics. I love creating things and letting my imagination run wild.
I love “The Witches” by Roald Dahl because when you read it again, there are always new bits that you forgot and because it keeps you hooked. It’s sort of a mystery, but it’s also magical but real, funny but solemn, happy but scary, it’s very creative.
My favorite piece of writing I wrote is the entry I wrote on 9/23/16, in third grade, because it shows the way my mind works and my thoughts and it really represents me! It’s silly, it’s got a rhyme in it, it shows the current events, it’s really me!
A mentor to me in my writing would be Stuart Gibbs, because I LOOOVE his books! Also, he captures his characters’ thinking, which I love to do and he inspires me to write and get creative.
Sometimes my mom helps me with my writing, but normally I help myself because there are SOOO many things to write about that I only need correct spellings sometimes.
Again, Stuart Gibbs. As I said, he inspires me, and I think his books are an example of good writing, but that might just be me. He inspires me because, as I said before, he captures his characters’ thinking, and I try to, as well. I think his writing is good because when it needs to be realistic, it is very realistic, and well written, when it needs to be fiction, it is fiction, and very good fiction, at that. That’s why I think he’s a good writer.
When I write, I don’t use resources because I don’t need to. It’s usually straight from the brain.
I usually stick to a few topics while writing: poetry, lists, sometimes memories, and also graphs, because those are the subjects I’m really comfortable in, so I like to write about them a lot.

My favorite piece of writing is my way of telling Suan Wu Kong (Monkey King)’s story. It is a Chinese legend. I like this piece of writing because it has lots of details and starts at his peculiar birth, which is jumping out of a Boulder.
My Mom helps me write by giving me ideas.
I think ‘The Tiger Rising’ by Kate Dicamillo gives an example of good writing because she describes how a character is feeling with metaphors and analogies.
I use my old writing journals to get Ideas by looking at old writing pieces.
I like to write many different topics in my Writers Notebook. For example, My first entry in my Writers notebook (discluding my all about me entry) was a review and summary, then the next one was a fantasy story.

I also have notebooks that I carry with me in case I see something and I want to write about it. My favorite things to write about are mysteries about two siblings named Pam and Sam and they go on adventures. It's also more of humor mysteries, funny stuff happens to them. I enjoy writing a lot of different stuff like books and songs. My favorite thing that I've written is a song I wrote that I sang at last year's talent show called "Can You See the Stars." My favorite author to read is Caroline Keene, the author of Nancy Drew. She has inspired me to write mysteries. My babysitter helps me with spelling when I write. Goddess Girl books and Whatever After books have inspired me and made me more interested in writing fairy tales. I don't use a lot of resources when I'm writing. I enjoy writing about a lot of different topics like Food Fairies named Courtney Cupcake, Tia Twizzler and Sugar and Spice Spirt and Cathy Cotton Candy. I also like writing poems that I turn into songs and short stories.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite place to write is at my desk in my room at home if I have write on physical paper or in a physical notebook. If I can type on my computer in my living room I will do that.
I always prefer to write on a computer so I can change my mistakes. I also like to be able to change the fonts and use graphics when appropriate.
My favorite things to write about are: How annoying my sisters are; How To's; and pretend newspaper articles.
My favorite thing to write about are trips. For example, I like to write about when I went to Georgia last year.
I prefer to write nonfiction.
Currently my favorite piece of writing is Hidden Figures, a true story by Margot Lee Shetterly. It is about four African American women who worked for NASA.
I don't have a favorite piece of writing. But I like my story about my trip to Georgia when I landed at 2:30am!
I do not have a favorite author. All of the books I read are by different authors.
Sarah, the person that is with me afterschool, helps me with my writing and homework all the time.

DeleteWho I am as a writer is a creator. When writing I enjoy doing it on my living room couch. It's comfortable, quiet, and very meditating. The tool I use to write is a black ink pen or sometimes a pencil for careless mistake. I also use free writing because it helps me to think and make new and fun ideas. I have a few writing territories, but my favorite is fiction because it allows you to be creative and write what ever you like and make it come to life. I enjoy writing both non fiction and fiction, but what I enjoy most is fiction, which is also my favorite piece of writing like the book Goosebumps. In 3rd grade I wrote a fiction about a dream I had,. I was very imaginative. I designed characters that would had very unusual personalities it was an amazing piece. My favorite author is R.L. Stone because his Goosebumps Stories has a twist to it. When you think it's the characters telling the story it's actual the monsters telling them. When writing the resource it use is a thesaurus or a computer those two are like my best friend it helps me with punctuation, spelling and similar or different words to replace another word. I have to say I write about many different topics writing about one topic can be boring and beside I like venturing out.

In my writers notebook, I usually write fiction but when I publish pieces, they are usually nonfiction pieces.
My favorite books are The Call of the Wild and Where the Red Fern Grows. I like a lot of other books but those are my favorites.
My favorite piece of writing is my whale piece. It was the first published piece I ever wrote!
My favorite authors are JK Rowling, Rick Rordin, Jack London and Judy Blume. I love the books they write and I like their stories. But, out of all of them I like the author of Where the red Fern Grows because I like to write about dogs and that author really helps me with ideas.
My mom helps me most with my writing. She gives me ideas for writing when I'm stuck. She also helps me with spelling hard words. Sometimes my brother helps me too! He helps me think up names and things to write about. He helps me get a good story line.
The book that inspires me the most is Where the Red Fern Grows because there are two dogs in the story and it's a big adventure. That is what I write about most so it inspires me and gives me ideas.

ReplyDeleteThe genres I like to read is alittle fiction but I love biographies because I love non fiction and reading other people lives and who they are.
The other things I like to read beside books is sometimes funny dog magazines.
My favorite author is Beverly clearly and Roberta Edwards and House vaswani because there story inspires me.
My favorite series is ramona and those books who is who was what is books because those are biographies and I love them.
Reading makes me feel good and it is really inspiring and it makes me feel like I am in the book and I like it.
What I like most about reading is that it really seems like a movie but reading words and its nice because I like movies and I like books.
The most challenging thing about reading is the difficult words and then you dont understand it at all also because its hard to understand a page.

Who am I as a writer? My favorite place to write is at my table because it is smooth and my brother, sister, mom and dad sit there. When I smell food that makes me think of fiction and my sister gives me food that gives me ideas. My tools are pencil and notebook because it can erase when you make a mistake. My personal things are kept in my Writer's Notebook. I like to write nonfiction because you can create your own story. My favorite author is Dav Pilkey the person who made Captain Underpants and Dog Man. The creator made it really funny in the story. My favorite piece of writing I wrote last year is my Pokemon piece.
ReplyDeleteI like writing in my room because it is cozy and quiet and easy for me to concentrate. Also I like using my bendable pencil. My writing territory is my family, dog and me because it is inspiring and I like to write with things that are inspiring. I like writing fiction because it can be funny or anything. My favorite piece of writing is the story with me and my best friend because it helps me remember the times we had together. My favorite book is Dork Diaries because it is funny and different. My mentor is my mom because I can trust her and tell things to her. My mom helps me write and if I don't know a word she will correct me or let me sound it out. I use my last year notebook and my Charms Harry Potter because it gives details and it is interesting and it helps me make up my stories by finding like parts in the story. I like to write about many different things.
