the main problem is Skyla try to take naomi to loss vagus . and owen and naomi and gram ar run away to maxico and they ar try to find ther fother . and Skyla is youse naomi this for a baby sit .
ReplyDeleteThe main problem is that Skyla is trying to take Naomi to lass vagus. I know this because Skyla said that "Naomi is going to live with me and my boyfriend and his daughter, sapphire. she can be like a big sister to sapphire." [Skyla was drunk at the time and slapped Naomi.] Except that gram took Naomi and Owen to Mexico to find their father.[And to run away from Skyla.] gram also has to go to court to convince the judge that Naomi should stay with her.

DeleteThe author’s message is to never give up. I know this beacause in the text after Gram, Fabiola and Flora go somewhere, Naomi and Owen call a lot of people because she wants to find her father. But Gram told Naomi not to call people. Also, Naomi wrote Buscando Soledad León in her notebook. She wrote that because she didn’t speak Spanish and she tried to read it off to the people she called.
ReplyDeleteThe author's message is to be brave. E.V.1 when Naomi calls strangers on Flora's phone even though Gram tells her not to-that is brave because she is usually very shy. E.V. 2. When Owen and Naomi are stuck in the trailer with Skyla, Naomi defends Owen even though Skyla is mean to Naomi.

My first peice evidence is that when Gram, Fabiola and flora went some where Naomi Owen and Ruben started to call different people and ask if they new anyone named Santiago Leon even tho Gram told Naomi not to use the house phone.My second peice of evidence is when Skyla was being abusive to Naomi Owen stuck up for her even tho she can hit Owen too. So thats why I think the message is to be brave.

She then pretended to be nice so that Gram would warm up to her. Skyla wanted Gram to allow her to take Naomi to Las vegas with Clive. Ev: Skyla said to Clive that she would take Naomi to Las vegas on the phone. This is the evidence for why I believe that Skyla is the main problem in Becoming Naomi Leon.
ReplyDeleteSkyla believes that she has a right to be with her children but she abandoned them so I don't think she has that right anymore. I know this because in the text it says Skyla hurt Naomi maybe even Owen and left them with Gram. She also is a alcoholic which is another reason why Naomi should not go with Skyla.

DeleteI think the author's message is that when someone is bad to you, you should stand up to them. The reason why I think that is because Owen stood up to Skyla and when Naomi was hurt, Gram was not afraid of Skyla. Even when Skyla said she's going to hurt Gram.
ReplyDeleteThe main problem in the stoy becoming Naomi leon is that skyla which is Naomi and owens mother wants to take Naomi whith her to las Vegas to be whith clive which her boyfriend and clive daughter.I know this because in the text Skyla and clive thinks Naomi would be a good rolemodel for clives daughter. Clive had recently got custody of sapfire, also Naomi and her brother lived peacefully with there great-grandmother until her mother came to take her away and leave her brother behind.
ReplyDeleteThe main problem in becoming Naomi Leon is that Skyla/Terri-Lynn wants to Naomi. But Skyla/Terri-Lynn is not fit to be a mother. I know this because Skyla/Terri-Lynn drinks to much. Also Skyla/Terri-Lynn abandoned and gave Naomi to Gram when Naomi was only 4 and wouldn't talk and Owen was only 1 and had tons of irritated bug bites.

And then she came back and expected them to know who she was.i know this because she wanted to take them to Las Vegas but Naomi didn’t want to come so skyla slapped naomi. And also Gram, Bernado and Fabilola took them to Oaxaca and then Naomi started to call everybody on their phonebook with Leon’s name.
ReplyDeleteand then Skyla said in the morning I expect Naomi to be ready and when Naomi woke up she thought there was an earthquake, but it was actually the baby beluga on the highway. Then they went to Oaxaca.
Skyla believes that it is okay to leave her children and at the time Skyla left Naomi not speaking to anybody because she was so scared of Skyla and Skyla left Naomi and Owen with Gram and then she says she's a great mother. Skyla wants to take Naomi to Las Vegas so Gram took Naomi and Owen to Oaxaca in Mexico and Naomi went to the cheese lady and ask her if she knows Naomi's dad but the cheese lady said no so Naomi and Owen and the other boys name but I don't remember but then they called everybody in the phone book
ReplyDeleteThe author message is about Family. The main problem with the story is that Naomi family is really messed up they have a lot of issues. Naomi parents left her and then her mother came back. She wants to take her to Las Vegas she also has a drinking problem. Gram didn't want them to go to Vegas so Gram took them away. The author is showing different family issues.
