the one that I chose was character feeling. Catherine felt embarrased because when she was arguing with Jason everyone was looking at them.jason feels mad when Catherine said I only in the dark or pitch black. catherine feels shocked when Jason says I like you
ReplyDeleteI am choosing Belief system. I think Jason believes Catherine doesn't want to go to to the dance with Jason. I know this because in the text it said that Jason wanted to go to the dance with Catherine, Catherine thought that if she went to the dance, Catherine would be embarrased

cat feels that Kristi will not be friends with her if she finds out that she is friends with jason because kristi is a perfectionist and if she found out that she was friends with she would think cat is weird.

“because you’re embarrassed of me.” And embarrassed
since she hasent told Kristi about Jason yet.
I chose feelings. Jason is feeling mad because when Catherine didn't want to go to the dance with him he thought she was embarrassed of him and wasn't accepting that he has Cerebral Palsy, Catherine also made a rule about and it said ''No dancing unless i'm in my room alone or its pitch black dark''and he said it was a stupid excuse. He was also mad when Catherine drew a picture of the together but there was no wheelchair and he felt mad because he knew with Cerebral Palsy he couldn't sit on his own without anyones help. Catherine is feeling embarrassed because she hasn't told her friend Kristi that her friend was in a wheelchair and Kristi is like a cool kid and she doesn't want to ruin her relationship with her. She also felt embarrassed when she and Jason had that whole argument about accepting him when she really did she can feel everyone staring at him and her so she ran out crying.

Kristi is a non-helper because she’s making the problem worse by asking Cat to the dance and asked Jason to come with her, but Jason is in a WC and Kristi will think he’s a weirdo because she’s cool and hip. Ryan is a non- helper by playing mean pranks on David like giving him the empty gum wrapper.
Catherine is a helper by giving Jason new word cards that are cool, standing up to Kristi and standing up for David too. David is a non-helper by using his fingers for the b-day cake and Embarrassing Cat in public. Cat’s mom is a non-helper by not respecting the rules and telling Cat that using the book to communicate is not good.
Catherine is feeling embarrassed because David was eating so much cake and because she didn't go to the dance with Jason and they had an argument and everyone was looking at her and Jason!

ReplyDelete1. Catherine felt worried that her brother David might embarrass her in public by acting out.
2. Jason felt unhappy when Catherine said she does not want to go to the dance with him.
3. Catherine was surprised to know that Jason liked her.
4. Jason felt angry because Catherine drew a picture of him sitting on the bench instead of in his wheelchair.
5. Catherine is ashamed that her friend Jason has Cerebral Palsy, because she is afraid that Kristi will judge her. :)

ReplyDeleteI'm going to choose: character feelings. Catherine is feeling bad because she said no to Jason when he said he wanted to go to the dance with her. Jason felt mad and sad when Catherine said no when he taped in his communication book he wanted to go to the dance with her. David felt excited when he went to Jason's bday party. The mom felt anxious when Catherine came into the car mad and sad. Miss Morehouse felt happy when Catherine made it to Jason's bday. Kristi felt kind of mad when Catherine couldn't go to the dance with her and Ryan.
