If Martin Luther King, Jr. was alive today and you could write him a letter, what would you say?
What questions would you ask him?
What would you tell him about your own life and the world today?
How would you thank him?

Dear King, how were you strong from the who told you were going to get kill to the people who hate you? What was your biggest mountain to climb up but then make it? How did you get so smart in a unfair world? the world is fair in some states but if you didnt save the world i wound`t meet all my friends and life isn`t all good but put you in your life and be you i`m thankful for all the things you did risking your life for billon people and pushing your life and songs and your "I Have A Dream " speech change some of the world thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteDear Mr. King. how did it feel to make a difference to all of those people? If I were you, I would be scared to death!!! I want to thank you so much for making a difference to my life!!
ReplyDeleteDear Martin Luther King, How did you feel when you were in front of all those people? How did you get all those people there? How long did it take you to write your speech? If you didn't say your speech, the world would of been totally different we would still be segregated and it still would have been unfair for the people who are African American. I want to thank you because you change the whole wide world by saying your important speech I want to thank you again and we still carry on your legacy at my school and tomorrow we do the March on borough hall like I said carrying your legacy so I'm going to end it right here. From Cristian
ReplyDeleteDear MLK, how did you feel when you got harassed.[ if you were]. the world today is a little better because withuo t you and the other freedom fighter i wouldn`t have my best friend, Isanne also we would all be in a single colour school
ReplyDeletedear MLK, what was it like having people giving you death
ReplyDeletethreats. Without you the world would still be segregated.
Even though the world isn't still totally fair it's so much better because of you.
Dear Dr.King, What did you feel like when you were giving the speech? Did you ever feel like marching and getting people to do it with you was to hard and that you wanted to give up? What encouraged you to start fighting for freedom? I would tell Dr.King that everything in the world is still not as great as I would like it to be but it is definitely better. Other people are marching for things that are happening in our world like "Equal pay and equal rights for women" and "Gay lives" also "Climate change" you would be proud of us today. Also at my school it is our 12th year marching for our freedom and what we want to stop. I would like to think you for marching because right now I would have to be separated and not me the amazing people I have met today and I wouldn't be able to have all amazing privileges and things us black, spanish, muslim and many more religions have today. I truly admire you and you are a great freedom fighter. Warm regards, Selena.

ReplyDeleteI would ask MLK, what made you decide to fight for equality? And did anyone inspire you? The world today is good because there is barely any inequality, only in some states and countries. My life is good I go to a great school and tomorrow we are going to represent every freedom fighter out there. Thank you for helping inequality, racism, gay, lesbian, trans- gender, etc.
Dear Matin Luther King Jr,
ReplyDeleteHow did it feel to be the leader of the Civil Rights March? What inspired you to be a fighter for freedom? What would you be doing now, if you were still alive ?
I have friends from all different nationalities. Kids can drink from the same water fountain, they can use the same bathroom and attend the same school.
I would like to thank you by continuing to fight for equal rights for all races. I would like to continue to learn about my history and educate my friends who do not know.
Thank you for having the courage and the passion for making a difference in the world.
Sincerely,
Aiden Christopher Louison :)
Dear Martin Luther King,
ReplyDeleteI have so much to ask you, so much to tell you about, and so much to thank you for. First of I have some questions. How do you enlighten people to stop segregation and how did you get so many people to do it? Second I want to tell you about my life and the world now. I’m in the fourth grade and at recess there’s this kid that called me brown. I said stop and said that he was being racist but he said he didn’t care and after that I said nothing. Racism is still alive but we are doing things to improve everyday. I want to thank you for bringing people who are all races and backgrounds including black and white people to work together because if things were as bad as they used to be I wouldn’t be happy.
dear mlk what did it feel like to lead the civil rights movement
