  2. Stanza 1: means to me that MLK thought of us as family. Stanza 2: means that MLK had a dream that every little boy and girl would have simple given joy. Stanza 3: means MLK shared his wise deam to every one. And he thought that nobody should walk and do stuff alone. Stanza 4: means to me that MLK wanted racism freedom for everyone he said " we have hope." And that is what I think this MLK poem is about.

  3. To me the poem means that Dr Martin Luther King Jr understood that the people needed to come together to fight for equal rights. His dream also was for boys and girls not to be judged by their color but they would be judged by how they act. The third stanza means to me that if they didn't join hands they would not have as much strength to fight for their rights. The last stanza means to me that the most important weapon to use is love and the more hope we have the better our future.

  4. The first stanza of the poem made me feel that I should not hit or hate my brother.

The second stanza makes me feel that all boys and girls should be happy, no matter what.

The third stanza makes me feel that I will never walk alone and that there will always be a parent next to me.

The last stanza makes me feel that I can sing and not get mad when I sing, It makes me feel like I am free when I sing.

  8. This poem means to me that MLK thought of the whole world as his own family and that one day people will not care if there friend is black or white and people will join hands and black or white people will be and solve problems problems with peace and justice and the world will all love each other black or white

  15. That poem means this to me, I am friends with a lot of kids, three of them I could not be friends with because of Jim Crow laws. Now because of MLK I can be friends with them. It's like a sturdy brotherhood.

If I was not friends with them I would not have learned as many things as I do know so I must not walk alone.

  17. I think that Martin Luther King was a good and generous man. In his speech he wanted us to have equal rights. It made me think of my dream to give Egypt freedom and rights. Like Dr.Martin Luther King I would like to share my dream too. You have to work very hard to achieve your dreams. Dr.Martin Luther King would be so proud to see how far people have come.

  19. I think this poem means that everyone is equal and they should all be together and treated the same. The first stanza means that every person should be together and treat each other like family. I think the second stanza means that every boy and girl should be happy just because they can be free. I think the third stanza means unless we all work together we won’t be able to have equal rights for all people. I think the fourth stanza means that Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream that everyone should be treated equally and be happy living together.

The first stanza means that Martin Luther King understood that people are stronger if they stand together. The second stanza means that you can find happiness by fulfilling his dream. The third stanza means that we have to make this dream real by doing it together. The last stanza means that if we join together we can accomplish great things and it will bring us joy and that is what we should do as American citizens.

In the second stanza he is trying to tell you can have a colored moms or dads and not colored moms or dads. In the third stanza he is trying to tell you not to stay away from different races. In the fourth stanza he is trying to tell you that different races can be mixed.
