  2. Words I would write for Jason are ask me and listen to me and I like. I chose these words because they help you interact with other people by being able to tell them how you feel.

  3. I would pick these words Ask me, I'm human to, glum I chose the first one because the therapist always asks his mom just because he uses a communication book still doesn't mean he can't talk he still has words to answer. I chose the second one because he can't talk so what we respect that and we will always include him because he is human. I chose the last one because he doesn't need to have sad he can use glum like this "I now feel glum because Summer is over."

  4. I want to talk, don't act like I don't exist and can you leave me alone. the first one is so he can say things for him self, the second one is so if people don't act like he is human he can remind them, third is so if he wants to be alone he can say that.

  5. Words I would write for Jason are equity and ask me and I hate you and I hate that and stop I choose these words because Jason want`s to know if someone or something is bothering him. I also think he will need equity because if he touch it then that means he needs help like the chair example everyone can see the zoo keeper feeding the pony then get a chair and let that person see the pony too. I also think Jason could have i hate you and i hate that Jason is 14 he could allowed to say I hate that or i hate you even know hate is a strong word if he strong who he don`t like he can say that. Jason could use stop and that`s not nice because what if Jason goes to school and someone is bullying him he could use that`s not nice and he`s mom`s keep`s on talking to him he can use the stop.he can use a card that`s says girtar because he love`s micuc.

  6. I want to putt these three words 1. Music 2 . Technology & tired. I would choose the first word because he really likes guitars & guitars make music. I would choose the second word because I think because of his disability , he can’t use it. I putt the third word because if he fallen asleep in his wheelchair, I think it is Reilly hard to get him into his bed.

  7. "Ask me not my mom" because his therapist teacher ask his mom how he is feeling. "I need help" since he's in a wheelchair he needs help with a lot of things. "I'm hungry" because he mint be hungry and is mom not.

  8. The words I would write for Jason are anxious, stunned and menu.
    1. I chose anxious because if Jason is afraid of something he could tell someone his feelings.
    2. I chose stunned because if he has a surprise birthday party he could touch I'm stunned.
    3. I chose menu because if he goes out to eat with anybody he could touch can I see the menu.

  9. 1. Be a community because its important to not leave anybody out and be kind.
    2. Equity because you might need a chair to see when the other kids don't.
    3. I don't like you because in the book Jason didn't have any words that express his feelings like I'm mad.

  10. If i was making word cards for Jason I would make these words disgust, furious, cranky,Christmas,Thanksgiving, costume, depressed, cheerful. That way Jason would have more ways to communicate.Jason thinks his therapist is not nice, but if he could say he is disgusted with her and furious the therapist would stop treating him like a baby. Jason could articulate his feelings more with the words suggested, so he can tell the therapist how he really feels.

  11. The three words I chose are food, tissues and wristwatch. The reason why I chose these words is because you need food to survive anywhere. Unlike tissues you don’t need them to survive, but it’s sanitary to use. Wristwatch is not as important to have because it’s only meant to keep track of time, but can also be used for timer and stopwatch.

  13. If i were making word cards for Jason, i would pick play, draw, and guitar.
I would pick play because i know that he likes to play with his friend Catherine. One of the things he likes to do with her is draw. So I would also pick the word draw. Another word that I would pick is guitar. The reason I picked guitar is because Jason asked his mom for a guitar in the book.

  14. If I were making cards for Jason I would pick hi my name is Jason, why did you do that?, and nice to meet you.

I choose hi because that's a way to greet someone.

I choose why did you do that in case he has a question.

I choose nice to meet you because it is always nice to meet someone.

  15. Today in class we read books about Native Americans in New York. I learned that Iroquois lived in New York State 2,000 years ago. They came from the following five tribes or nations Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida and also Mohawk and Tuscarora. There was a leader named peacemaker who worked for ending fighting among Iroquois tribe’s his name was Ayewatha. Iroquois stories also say that chief Tadodaho had snakes in his hair and a twisted body. People believed he could kill enemies from a distance the peacemaker had a ceremony to soothe Tadodaho straighten his hair and remove the twists from his body. European explorers and traders began their arrival in the 1500’s they came from separate countries England, Spain, France and the Netherlands. Another tiny fact is that the Iroquois prayed before their hunted expeditions.
