The words mean to me is that you walk away from your fear or problems and walk away from your enemies.And you should believe in your self and hope for the world hope for the best.Help the other people that need help.Violence is a bad thing not a nice thing when violence comes there's bad in him in the room and means to me that to be nice to everyone in the world.Color or white.And the weapon of love is a powerful weapon stronger then hope greatness or anything in the world.When any body puts their hands on the weapon of love then they turns in to a blessing person and can change the world to a wonder of greatness.LOVE THE WORLD AND LOVE EVERYONE!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteyou step up and be strong but in a loving way.
Move on and keep on caring for people that aren't fair to you and don't stop being loving to people that aren't nice to you. Be a loving person for people that are acting mean and don't stop being loving.
these words speajk of doing .love one amdther amd have peace. It doesn't matter the color of anyone,skin or where thy are from we need to live in peace .

ReplyDeleteThese words by MLK mean a lot to me because I believe MLK is trying to say be strong and stand up like a statue and never ever fall or break to your anger. It means do not be mean, using hurtful words, or violence, be kind. I believe that MLK wants everyone to use love to defeat hate because the power of love is stronger.That is the message I believe MLK was trying to send to everyone.
It means to me to be nice to every one people even they are mean to you and even they don't like you.If they be violence to you ,you should not be violence to people because being violence is not good and it might hurt other peoples feelings so you should be nice to other people. If you have the feeling of love and care you could even be nice to people who is even mean to you. Love makes the whole world happy!!!

ReplyDeleteIt means good things to me, it makes me feel good about who Martin Luther King Jr was. Martin Luther King was a man who fighted for his rights. But not with a weapon. With words. Dr. King fought with word, like when he did his "I have a dream" speech. He was fighting that very moment with all the blacks and whites lissening very closely. He was fighting . . . with words. Yup he was fighting with words and he fliped everthing the way it should be with all the blacks and whites being treated the same way. thats what those words mean to me, and thats who Martin Luther King Jr. was and that speech was the best thing he had ever done.
It means when you are doing the right thing you should do it obeying the law and respecting others. Avoid hatred and violence because they do not solve any problems. Love is powerful and the weapon we should use.

ReplyDeleteThis means if people are mean to you, you don't have to be mean back. It means to make yourself happy in life, not to make yourself mad all the time. It also means if somebody doesn't like you or agree with you, you don't have to dislike them. Always try to be nice to people and to everything. That is what it means to me.

ReplyDeleteIn the 50s and 60s when they sang for peace they used peaceful words.When people yelled at them they did nothing but ignore them and keep on singing.
MLK used very strong words, but never mean ones.
Ajay thinks that MLK said that people can get their rights with love and respect.It will bring love and peace not hate and violence.This what this speech means to me.Everybody should have justice.

ReplyDeleteI agree to what MLK said because I think that the weapon of love is the best weapon ever. Violence is not the way to solve problems (but in the super hero world it is). Dr. King taught his followers not to use violence when other people were violent to them. It takes a lot of courage.

Dignity means pride for yourself, don’t let anyone stop you when you’re doing this. Discipline means punishment. It also means controlling yourself when you’re doing wrong stuff.
By the weapon of love he means don’t use any weapons only use your love and you can change people by that. If you use weapons like guns they’ll hate you even more. If you use love they’ll love you more.

Always avoid violence means stay away from anybody who is violent so you don’t get involved.
It means that just because somebody hates you doesn't mean you hate them back. Also it means that you do things the right way or the legal way when you want to get things done. Avoiding violence means to not use guns, knives or fighting when you want to get things changed. When you are trying to make a change, don't use real weapons - show love.
ReplyDeleteIt means to be peaceful and to never be violent. To always have consideration for other people's feelings. And it's not good to have people feeling that they are not equal. Also, it's not proper to judge a person by their gender or the color of their skin.
ReplyDeleteHate is a strong word you should not hate people. Everyone should live nicely together, and loving together, no matter what their skin color looks like. If someone is trying to pick a fight with you, turn the other cheek, ignore, or get a grownup. Always have love in your heart for everyone, even the ones that pick on you or the ones that dislike you. Love is very powerful, so always have a lot of love in your heart. That is what the words mean to me.

Dignity means for me being worthy and honorable. One part when MLK said, "Let no man pull you so low as to hate him" that meant to me don't let anyone make you so upset that you hate them. Love them, don't hate them if they hate you.
