i think that africa could use more schools and food because people are going hungry and having less homes and its very hard on africa people are dying by aids so i think we could help by growing crops and getting more medicine to help

ReplyDeleteOne prolem that this artical said about africa is how parents can't pay enoungh mony for thier kids to go to school,meaning some kids in Africa can't get thier education. In the artical it said oprah winfrey build two boarding schools in south Africa that girls can attend to for free,but thier needs to be more free boarding schools. That helps me think about how I can help Africa and this problem,I can help Africa and this problem by doing what Oprah winfrey did,make a school where Boys and Girls get to go to and it is for free,meaning they don't have to pay to get thier education.And that is what I'll do to help Africa and this problem

What I think should be done to help poverty, is that we have companies from the U.S. send food to Africa so this way, they don't starve to death and have energy to do things like go to school and work. If people in Africa don't have food, they will die. This will cause the population of Africa to go down.
ReplyDeleteI think we in the United State need to get involved to help all the poverty in Africa, there are so many celebrities in this world who should be able to help. I feel really bad for all the children who are starving and all the people who are dieing of Aids. Medicine and medical care should be available clean water should be a must. Our country needs to help Africa in every way we can.
ReplyDeleteYeah I agree because celebrities have tons of money.And lots of people listen to them. And it is really sad that people starve and die of aids. And also malaria.I really think it's the right thing to help them because there are lots of sad things happening there. I hope it gets better.

ReplyDeleteOne problem in Africa is kids are starving.The only way of helping is by the United States sending food, clothing and medicine. Another way is for the richest people like Oprah Winfrey did is to open up more school for kids so they could learn and become professionals. I also think they should stop producing weapons so there won't be no more families being killed and children staying without there parents.

And people should also donate money so people won't be so poor anymore and so people can get more schools for the children and so the parents can afford the cost of children going to school.

I think that people in Africa should not be poor because of the hard work they do they should get paid for they're hard work and they should have enough money to by food. The schools should be free because if someone is poor they can't go to school and that is not fair a child needs education and they need to learn.

I also think that the rich people in parts of Africa should give food to the poor people in other parts of Africa, because if the poor people have more food they might not go hungry.
ReplyDeleteThe article says that many farmers are fortunate if they can raise enough food to feed their family. It also says that parts of Africa have rich mineral resources. This means that in parts of Africa they're rich so they might be able to give food to the other parts that aren't rich, because in other places it isn't that easy to get food.
After reading about Africa I think that they should make more shelter because in the text it said that lots of people die but some are still alive but they need built shelters so they can hide.
ReplyDeleteI think the world should help farmers to raise enough money to feed their families. Stop corruption so the money from the oil can help kids go to school for free. Wars should be stopped, and AIDS medicine should be given fro free, so people stop dying of AIDS.
ReplyDeleteIf I would help Africa, I would give them nets because of mosquitoes that give Malaria, I would give them gel because it kills the most germs, and I would give them water and food. And I would build free schools for girls and boys because there is 31% of boys going to school and 27% of girls going to school. I would give them desks so they would have a place to put their stuff in. Kids need to learn their education so their minds are much smarter and they can find solutions to their problems.

ReplyDeleteTo help poverty in Africa you could Have food drives and donate the money to unicef or you culd donate clothing to the salvation army.Or you could have some activity for example a ar wash or stoop sale.etc and the money you get could be donated.You could raise money(with the help of lot's of people) tobuild schools or parks or anything needed in Africa.Have a group of people go to Africa and help people and feed them and give them fresh clean water.You could get bed net's so that it is harder to get Malaria
ReplyDeleteOne I believe that their should be more free schools in Africa. Since most of Africa is poor it is hard for families to pay for school. If you don't get a good education their isn't a lot of careers possibilities. Schools teaches you everything that you need to know in life.

ReplyDeleteI think to help poverty in Africa they should have clean water because if you don't have clean water there is no point of healthcare. 40 out of 53 countries in Africa are poor. I think people in Africa should not pay money for school because most people in Africa don't have enough money for their children to attend school. Only 27% of girls attend school and only 32% of boys attend school. A girl named Sekinat dropped out of school because she had to support her family. Children should not go hungry because they can get a disease. Some children are victims of war and violence.
