Lucas went to Boldt Castle on the St. Lawrence River!


Sam got to go to Coney Island and New Hampshire! He stayed in a cabin in New Hampshire and a porcupine woke him up at 3:00 am because it was chewing on the cabin!





Abebech went to Paris!






Jayleen spent her summer in Puerto Rico!

Lucas went fishing at Kueka Lake and caught two fish! Here he is holding the sunfish he caught!

    I just finished a week of basketball camp and today July 5th I went to the beach right now I am watching Costa Rica vs Holland in the world cup.

    On July second I started my first day of camp. on July 5th I went to a cookout and I played with my cousins and eat food. I whet to City Island and i eat there.

    I went on a play date with Kaytlin and we went to Coney Island and we had a good time and we had food at Nathan's and we got a treat at a candy shop and now I am going to an ayso soccer camp.

    I just finished reading a book called eight keys. It is a about a girl called Elise. For Elise,nothing has seemed right since middle school started. she gets tortured by her locker partner and can't get her homework done. Things arent the same with her best friend,franklin. And Elise discovers a secert.... if you want to know what it is you should read the book. I think it is really intasting and good

    On July 5th me my sister and are friends went to a special pool in New Jersey. The pool was special because at night there were giant fire works and you can get dinner. Me and my sister both thought it was one of the best times in are life.

    Today me and my mom my bother and friends went to the pool and we had fun and then we to a store and we got pizza and went home when we were walking we saw kittens and they were so cute.

    On July10th me my mom and sister went on a ferry to 34th street and then went back to Brooklyn bridge park then we went to get ice cream and then we went to Sam's house for a play date with another friend.In the middle of it all it was really fun.

    Today my sister and I went to Sky Farm a horse farm in Copake, New York to ride horses. I rodea horse named Prestsige,my sister rodea horse named Misty.We went for a walk then we went in a arena to trot around for while.It was a lot of fun.

      Hi Luke. You looked great sitting up there on Prestige. When I was about your age I went to a farm to ride horses too. You and your sister are sure having a lot of summer fun.     At summer camp I had a trip to go to manhattan and go on a sailboat ride. Me and my sisters got to drive a sailboat and got to pull up the sails,it was so much fun! Durning Agust me and my big sister are going to tunisa,which is were my mom is from. And tunisa is in Africa,and we studied africa.

    Right now I am in Miami visiting my Grandma. We're planning to go the beach soon and I can't wait. Today it is raining hard with thunder and lightning. A few days ago was my sister's birthday and we went to Chuck E Cheese's and had a lot of fun. We have been eating a lot of mangos from my Grandma's tree. She also has pineapples, coconut, advocados, green bananas, oranges, papaya trees and all the good stuff :-) I have read 4 books and I have just started another one!

      Sounds like you are having loads of fun with your grandma. Her backyard sounds amazing. You are living a reading life.     I just arrived at Brasil.Its so nice here soon we are going to climb the sugar loaf mountainb.Its this huge mountaibn that takes about about an hour to get to the top aand at the top there is a bunch bof food and mini shops it is so cool!

    Dear class,
    I'm Having so much fun at Connecticut I've practically spend the whole time in the pool, I even got to get matching tattoos with my cousin.I've had so much fun I can't wait till I go back to school and see Ms.Scarborough and all of my classmates and I hope and wish you all have a great summer!!!

    Yesterday I went fishing in The Husand River.But I never cought a fish,the fish,would keep on taking my bait.But it was still really fun. I also got to go to a really big pool and my dad taught me how to float in water. Have a good sumer!!

    I just came from Paris. what I loved most was waking up on the Eiffel Tower. Also i loved vesting my second cousin and my moms friend. Instead of having candy they have pastries.

    In June, we went to Sunapee New Hampshire. My cousins and I played with glowsticks at night, outside the house we stayed at.

    We also went to Chocorua, New Hampshire in a cabin. There was also a porcupine there that woke us up at 3:00 am, it chewed up the cabin.

    Just before school started, we went to Coney Island on some fun rides. The rides we went on were a roller coaster (The Tickler), The Wonder Wheel, and the Wild River.
