One of my favoirite books is matilda. The theme in the story is dont judge a book by its cover becuse no one liked matilda not even there parents the authors message is to love. The favirote part of matidla is when madilta asked for a book and here dad said why do you want a stinking book we have a wonder full telly and the tittle of the book is matilda and the autor is ronald daolf
ReplyDeleteBook 1: The umbrella man book 2: Henry sugar and 6 more book: 3 to 8: the 2nt Percy Jackson series book 9: the 10th diary of a wimpy kid book 10: a light in the attic book 11 to 21: Narnia. My favorite book is
ReplyDeleteHarry Potter and the deathly hollows. A list of themes in that book are Magic, robbery, sadness, love, and bravery. An authors message in that book is that bad people are not always easy to defeat. I know this because voldemort had 7 lives (or hocuses) and harry had to destroy all of them which took 2 books and a few people died. My favorite part of the book is when harry busted out of gringots on a dragon who doesn’t like dragons. I think other people should read it because (its harry potter) its very very exiting there are 3 really big action scenes (no spoilers). ☺
My favorite book is the Captive, by Joyce Hansen (Historical Fiction). The theme in that book is freedom. The author's message is never give up. One of my favorite parts is when Kofi marries Ama in Massachusetts and they have two children. Kofi then becomes the captain of a ship. My favorite line is "I had lost my home, my family and even myself. I was a slave." I think other people should read this because it shows what black people had experienced during slavery. I recommend this book for summer reading. :)
ReplyDeleteThe book wait till Helen comes by Mary downing han. The theme in the story is that you can't love someone in what they give you. I love this book because it is about starting a new life with new family members but meantime they are struggling.
ReplyDeletemy favorite book is dark deep dangerous by Mary downing han This story is about love/ jealousy and death this is my favorite because the story connects to me about How families get together about love and death ithink people should read this book because if you really love family and how they get together in a ghost story you should read this book it's about compassion and also about family getting together even in bad situations that's why I think people should read this book Plus what's better than doing the summer read read read that's a lot that's my mottodark and dangerous rocks
ReplyDeleteThe book is Percy Jackson and the lightning thief. The theme is unknown family. The author's message is you can be more than what you seem. My favourite part of the story is when Percy fought Luke. I think you should read it because if you like action this is the book for you, and who doesn't like action?
ReplyDeleteI think that kids should read On The Run 3 by Gordon Korman because the theme is really interesting. The theme is that these two kids are trying to find a guy called Frank Lindenauer who was there mother and father's insurance agent. But then the parents go to jail because they were accused of blowing up a farm. They think Lindenauer is the one who will tell them the truth about what happened. The authors message is that you should never give up.I think that because in the book the kids never give up to find Linderauer. My favorite part of the book is the end because it shows lot's of heavy details. I think kids should read it this summer because the book keeps you interested from the beginning all the way to the end.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is a series called Mr. Putter and Tabby. All of the characters in that book remind e of someone special in my life. Tabby the cat reminds me of my cat named Patsy. My cat is really fat and she loves to be rubbed. Mr.Putter reminds me of my grandpa they're both really smart and always solving things. Zeke the dog in the story reminds me of my grandpa dog. They both bark a lot and love to have fun except Cino our dog doesn't wear clothes like Zeke does. What I love most about these books is that it made reading fun and helped me begin to read much better.
ReplyDeleteI am going to read '' I funny'' a middle school story
ReplyDeleteby JAMES PATTERSON and CHRIS GRABENSTEIN
that also mad ''MIDDLE SCHOOL THE WORST
YEARS OF MY LIFE'' the them is the planet's funny kid comic
contest and this middle school kid thinks that he can win. The
author's message is don't stop something you wont to do. My
favorite part was when he saw a girl he acted like he was in a
video game.I think kids should read the book because they can
now what it is like to be in middle school and now what a kid
that is in a weal chair had to do to win a contest.
My favorite book is Matilda by Roald Dahl. The theme is about a girl who is really intelligent but doesn't have anyone to care for her, until she gets her first teacher, Miss Honey, then her life changes. One of the author's messages is that life is sweet and sour. My favorite part of the book with when Matilda writes Miss Trunchboll a letter on the chalkboard, because its so unrealistic and creative. You should read this story because its creative, action-packed and funny, all rolled into one.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite books is Forget-me-not Summer, and one of the themes is sisters. I know this because in the book there are three sisters: Marigold, Zinnia, and Lily the book is about the sisters overcoming their quarrels to help each other benefit in a real way. The authors message is:sometimes change is not bad and it can help you grow a person. I know this because the sisters live in Los Angeles and for the summer they have to go live in Pruet while their parents are working in Canada. At first the girls hated Pruet but by the end of the summer the loved it and aunt Sunny felt like real family. My favorite scene is the scene of the talent show which the girls have put on to bring back old memories to aunt sunny and her friends. In the scene Marigold has backed out of the play that the sisters have put on for the show. The reason being as she was an aspiring actress she saw her movie star friend and then she ditched because it was too "un-profesional" But at the last minute she jumped out of the audience and and jumped on to the stage where Zinnia was struggling to play two characters and did the rest of the show brilliantly.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is "I Funny" by James Peterson. One of the themes in "I Funny" is working hard, because Jamie worked so hard to get into the contest and try to make the people laugh, which is why he got 1st place. One of the author's messages are don't stop something you love, even of people or things are slowing you down, because Jamie had so many things that stopped him like not having a family so he had to live with a family who never smiled and the town's worst bully. My favorite part of this book was when Jamie got on the stage for the "Planets Funniest Kid" contest and he was sweating and so nervous. But then he told a joke and everyone laughed so hard, and he started to loosen up and he told jokes and won 1st place. One of my other favorite parts was when he finally made his adopted family laugh, and he felt so good about it. I think others should read this book because it is really cool and interesting how Jamie lives and survived through middle school. Also, there is a series of books so you can keep in reading them.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book is the Book thief. A theme in this book is love. I know this because Liesal loves Max even no he is a Jew and she is not supposed to love him. My favorite part is the end because it is sad and emotional. You should read this book because it will break your heart.
ReplyDeleteme too!!!
DeleteMy favorite book is Better To Wish. It's about a girl in the 1930s who lived on a small house and had to go through a life like any other girl could but I still thought it was interesting. She had to go through a loss which brought her down in the middle but she tried to pull through. A theme in the story is friendship. When her friend Sara died she made sure she wasn't alive any more and came to her funeral for her. That is friendship. My favorite part is when she tries to be strong without Sara and knows she has other friends that are with her. At the end she gets married which starts off an entire new story about another girl. There are four books.
ReplyDeleteOh and a message is better to try than not at all even if you fail. Abby, the main character tried to save Sara and still failed but if she didn't try than she would be stuck with a feeling of dread all her life. Which wouldn't be good. So at least she tried and she will have a good feeling that at least she tried.
ReplyDeleteOne book I would recommend to someone else is Bud Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis. The author's message in this book is even when times are tough, don't give up. the theme in this book is strength. My favorite part in this book is when Bud escapes from the Amoses house.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer read is Matilda because its about a small little girl that is very very smart but is treated like she doesn't belong in the world. The author of this book is Roald Dahl and the theme is just because your small doesn't mean you can't be smart.I think you should read this book in the summer because it's a book about reading which I think is kind of funny but yeah so I think you should read this book because it's funny and fairly detailed.
