I believe a need in our community is helping to raise money to help cancer, because some people suffer from cancer and I think it’s a big problem ,and that people should do something about it . I think I can get money to donate the money to help cancer.Also our community can donate money every year to help cancer. So if people do that the world will be a better place .

DeleteThe homeless people of New York City now don't get any attention. We walk past the without noticing anything strange about it. Now about 8% of people on streets get any attention. Now there are less than 1000 places for homeless people to go in southern New York State. I think that this is really sad. I think that my grandma and I do something to help homeless people and poor people by participating in the church street ministry. What we do is making meals and getting essentials like shoes, clothes, etc. I think that we can help out by simply buying someone a bagel or donating to charity.

DeleteThe fires in California are very dangerous and a lot of people had to leave their homeland and flee their homes because the fires got to close to their homes. I, Lucia hereby decide that people should try hard to stop polluting because most of the fires are caused by trash because trash creates pollution and pollution creates global warming which causes the fires. We can stop littering because that causes the fires. And the fires cause peoples homes to burn down.

ReplyDeleteWe can make posters that tell people to recycle and pick up after themselves. We can also pick up trash whenever we see it.
One of the needs I see in my school is that certain people are left out during recess. I know that because at recess I saw someone sitting by themselves with no one to play with.

to help our community is that I could ask them if they want to play with me and my friends.A thing other kids could do is include everyone in their group at recess and not only be friends with certain people.
I think that one the needs is homeless people because i see a lot of people who need food and water. we can help that be giving money to people who need it. We can help also by giving them food and water.

DeleteI think that the biggest problem is the fires in California because some people have to evacuate and leave all their belongings behind. This fire is cause by water drought. There has not been any rain for many days causing wild fires to occur. It is hard for some people because they have no where to go. Some people loose family member and all their possesions. This to me is troubling.one way we could stop this is that NY and CALIFORNIA could be in tuoch with the rescue force so every

when people are homeless there poor and they don't have a home and everybody diserves a home and I think we all cannot afford things.The way we can help is we can donate money to the people that need it or when you see poor people on the street you can give them a lot of money.Some things kids can help our community .So thats what I think we can do.

I see a lot of homeless people on the train stop and sometime on the streets sleeping in the cold weather.

ReplyDeleteI can make things better by ending pollution!The reason I want to end pollution is because I hate when people litter and I got to admit I probably littered a few times and I totally regret it and I want people to here this message, stop polluting our community!

Me and my friends could spread the word stop polluting our community and if that works we could make a group and go to the cafeteria and pick up others trash to make are school a cleaner and better place!

DeleteI think one need is help homeless people because they aren't healthy as us and everyone should be healthy.I think you should give them a snack or a little money about 50 or 60 cents.I think we should not treat them respectful and kind because if I were them I won't like being treated disrespectful so I should treat them like I want to be treated.
ReplyDeleteIn new york city there are to many homeless people. Every time I go to Manhattan I see at least three homeless people on the street and on trains and in parks. They are usually sleeping on cardboard or asking for money. And everytime I see that I feel very bad for them and the position they are in and most of the time I give them a little money. I think people could help by donating to the poor, and the way I will help is by encouraging people to donate to the poor and by maybe doing a lemonade stand of sell some stuff with some other kids and raise money for the poor. And also never ever ever ever be rude to the poor just because they are poor because that is a very bad offensive thing to do.
ReplyDeleteIf I see homeless people on on the street, I will want to help them. When I see homeless people I feel really good that I have a home, and bad that they don't. Often when I'm walking down the street I see people begging for money, and people selling things on the subway. I want to help them so sometimes I give them money. About 2 weeks ago, I was on the train with my mom and sister, when a blind women with a broken cane came in to our car. She was asking for money, and a few stops later, I asked my mom for 5 dollars to give to her. It felt good to get a chance to do the right thing and help someone.

When I see homeless people in Brooklyn I feel bad. One time I saw a woman sitting on a step holding a sign that said "I am pregnant, please give me money so I can go to a hospital." I felt bad that she could not afford to go to the hospital. I could help by donating money to charities that help people who are homeless. I could raise money by holding a bake sale and giving that money to a charity. I could also call my senators and ask them to help take care of homeless people in NYC
ReplyDeleteI think one of the problems in NYC is that people are constantly littering. Wherever you go, there are Twix wrappers on the street, bbq potato chip bags littering the road. And then there’s the constant dog poop al over the place. There’s supposed to be a $500 fine for these things. But no one ever pays attention to that and they litter anyway.
ReplyDeleteI think one thing we can do to stop this is try and get people to enforce the $500 fine. If somebody is caught littering or not picking up their dog poop they should be fined. Maybe $500 is a bit of an overkill. So maybe $50 or something.
I think kids can help by being an example. If you have a dog, pick up its poop all the time. If you have trash put it in your pocket or wait for a trash can. And we can also help by picking up trash that we see on the street and putting it in the trash cans.
Three are kids out there who need our help in life. Kids with cancer and diabetes. 1in 9 kids will survive cancer. We all need to donate money to children’s hospitals so that kids can get there treatment and not die. Kids need our help and let’s give it to them. I also bin thinking that I should make a group in my family to donate money to the homeless and kids in need. If u feel like u want to join just reply I want to join the group. ������

ReplyDeleteAlthough I mostly like NYC trains, I would tell the problem about NYC. On my neighborhood, there are cigarettes and some other dumb litter on the streets. Littering can pose a big problem to sea animals. Once in Costco I saw a donation to people in Texas from Hurricane Harvey. I think everyone provides more homes for the homeless. Also, litter is a big problem to NYC trains. When people litter on the tracks, it causes track fires which causes more train delays. So fossil fuels cause global warming which leads to strong hurricanes-Category 5 hurricanes. Oh hello I'm Alex and have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteKids need to stop bullying. Bullying is shoving people around and calling them names and continuing to do things to people when they tell you to stop. If you see someone bullying another person, you can go over to them and tell them to stop. If they don't stop, you can tell a teacher. Bullying makes me uncomfortable. It makes me not want to be around people who do it. If someone is bullying you, you can tell them to stop, try to walk away or tell someone else. If I see my friends bullying someone I will tell them to stop and if they don't I won't be friends with them anymore. To prevent bullying, you have to stick up for yourself and your friends, and talk to people in school about stopping bullying.

ReplyDeleteWhat we can do to help is build mini houses for the homeless people so they have something to survive with.
One need in NYC is recycling because when I walk on the street, I always see lot of garbage on the street, not in garbage cans. Also we should stop littering because it makes pollution. If animals eat litter, then they would probably die. Like if a fish ate plastic, they would die I think. So that means don’t put garbage in the water, as well as on the street or where you walk on or any where. What kids can do to help is not litter and if you see anyone litter, you can tell them not to litter.

Some things that I can help to change and make things better is some act of kindness. Sometimes it just takes 1 person to start a change. If I can just some kindness and understand to people in the world that can influence that person to show it to someone else no matter race, religion, male or female. Somethings I can do is holding the door, respect everyone's believes even if I don't understand, standing up for someone who cant stand up for them self and remain positive even in hard times. If we all can start doing these little things the world can just become a little better.

Is to stop bullying people by there sex or age, height and tone of their skin. Being really kind and generous help for example In my community I help others by offering my seat on the train to the disabled, elderly and pregnant women. I also help my grandmother a lot.

I think ways to start rebuilding California would be for schools ,churches and people in other communities to donate money or start fundraiser. They would have to start from scratch to buy supplies like wood,brick and metals. The community should come together to help each other back to building there homes..
