My hope for the new year is for less pollution in the air because even though it’s almost winter, It’s warmer than normal for this time of year. My dream is that everyone gets a home who needs one because I don’t think it’s fair for people to be homeless.
ReplyDeleteI want to work on my art skills because when I grow up I want to be an artist. Another thing I want to work on are my reading and math skills.
The steps I will take to achieve my goals are reading different and more challenging books. I plan on studying my math by playing math games and trying to improve my division skills. To improve my art I plan to do an art project every weekend.
We can help our classroom community of learners by donating items that are needed for the classroom. If I’m finished with my work, I can offer to help another student who may need it.
I can help my school community by being a positive example for other kids. I can also donate books that I’ve finished reading to the school book sale.
My hope and dream for the New Year is that I want to make an Origami Owl, Tyto Alba to be precise. I want to do that because now that I have made origami humans and superheroes, I want to make a bird of one kind. I also want to do that because throughout the year I have developed an interest in Tyto Barn Owls. I also want to create a Gameboard to use for my origami.
ReplyDeleteThe goal I want to work on is to not make a big deal after making a mistake in Piano because I am still learning and cannot perfect a piece in one day. Also, I just shouldn’t make such a big deal of making a mistake, it’s not the end of the world.
The steps I will take to achieve my goals will be taking a deep breath to center myself before playing my Piano. For origami, I will first try to make my own x-wing, they try another one, then make a folding pattern based on another - lots of practice!
I can help the classroom by not whispering and passing notes while other classmates are learning. I also could help more people during subjects (like coming up with writing ideas, spelling, how to solve a math problem, etc.). I can help the school by reminding my mom to get books the classroom libraries need, and I will speak up when I see people getting bullied.
That third sentence really shows that you like to fold origami!

DeleteMy hopes and dreams for the New Years is to build more shelters for the homeless. My hopes is to become a better writer, so I can fun writing more. One of my dreams is to be more responsible, so I can be successful in life. Another dream that I have is to be a track worker because I really like trains.

ReplyDeleteMy hope and dreams are that bullying, fires, terrorist attacks and pollution end.
Q: What goals do you want to work on?
I want to work on ending bullying because bullying is a bad thing and it really hurts people and this is not a good thing.
Q: What steps will you take to achieve your goals?
My first step is if you see someone being bullied to let an adult or teacher know that someone is being hurt.
My second step is if you see no one is helping to try and interfere and see if you could get the bully to stop what they are doing and try and get their perspective to the story.
My final step is to talk to both people to explain what happened, and why bullying is a bad thing to do.
Q: How can we help our community of learners in the classroom and in our school in the New Year.
One way to help our community in the classroom is to tell someone the differences between what is wrong and what is right. Another way you can help the classroom or the school is if you see someone talking while a classmate or teacher is talking you can say please stop as it is disrespectful to the person talking or your classmates as everyone is trying to get a good education.
My hopes and dreams for the new year is to have a safer world. Next year my goals are to be better at math and reading because this year I don't think I was doing good in it. I think I can achieve my goals by trying to understand more in math, it is also to read longer and try to be on a higher reading level. I can help my school next year by giving them lots of box tops so we could get new things and try to clean up after my self at lunch.

Deletefor the new year, I hope that people will stop fighting over things for silly reasons, like fighting things over land or setting things off fire and setting off explosions. For the new year I also hope people will come together in harmony instead of fighting each other. My goals for the new year are to stick to something like if I'm doing something that is really hard and I'm about to give up, I won't give up. Like if I'm doing a really hard math problem, I won't give up. I will work to achieve my goals by talking to people and asking for help and taking their guidance. I can help others by starting to set a good example, like if somebody doesn't understand what the rules are, I can do the right thing and set an example for them. If I see some kids teasing someone on the playground I can say stop, that kid doesn't like it and it's very mean.

I hope that the next time my teacher checks my reading level that I will be at level z. The way i’m going to do that is i’m going to (1 pay attention to the book more and while I am reading I should stop and think of some theories.(2 I will try to read more at home. I also hope to know how to hold my pencil correct and to hold it like that all the time. The way i’m going to do that is i’m going to try to hold my pencil correct while I am writing. ALso I want to learn how to play the guitar better than I can now. The way I am going to do that is by practising more often. Also this new year I am going to try to pay attention more and behave. And at lunch I will clean up better.

ReplyDeleteI wan’t to work on doing what I’m supposed to do at home faster and during school not get distracted so easily. I also want to donate to charity more often and help more people.
I think I’ll sell things that I make and donate the money to charity. I’ll also try to remind myself not to talk when I’m tempted to. Which is hard because you make your own decisions and when you make a decision it’s your decision and YOU are trying to not take that path.
I can help my school and fellow students by donating supplies and helping people who need help.
My hopes and dreams are just like ms scarborough be a teacher or a dancer. I am thinking to be a teacher because I think that teaching might be fun and you get to see more children. I also want to be a dancer because I love dancing and if I am a dancer I want to make a club out of it. I think that both of then is cool.( Or maybe gymnastic teacher.)
ReplyDeleteI hope that I get better at reading the next time I get assessed. I also hope that my hand writing will improve because right now, my hand writing is kind of off. Also, I want to get better at spelling because usually when my mom reads my writing, she asks what this says and usually it is because of my spelling, but sometimes, its because of my handwriting. I also hope that I get better in math. I make many silly mistakes and there are some things that are hard to learn such as area model with two digit numbers. Hopefully next year, I will be able to do 3 push-ups with out getting exhausted or messing up.

To achieve my goals is always stay in line but no fidgeting. I hope to prevent global warming because the danger of hurricanes. I'm going to build more shelters for people to stay in the shelter because of Hurricane Martin on 2020. Also, I hope I overthrow Donald Trump and put Hillary Clinton as president. ReplyDeleteMy hopes and dreams for this year are to practice more baseball and stay committed by not quitting. I also want to start reading different genres because I want to learn new things. The way I will achieve these things is by asking my mom to take me to the library more and try going in different sections. The way I will achieve my baseball hope is to practice on the weekends or my free time in the after noon.

ReplyDeleteOne of my dreams is to be a game developer and make a duck and mudkip vs pig game that has singleplayer and multiplayer. Another dream I have is that mudkips will be real (mudkip is a pokemon). I hope that I will get pokemon ultra sun for Christmas. I hope that there will be no such thing as war (unless it is just fake like in a movie or kids playing war games). I want to work on writing because I have a hard time thinking of things to write and I want to work on reading better. I will try and read an hour or more every day and try to write more. I can help the school by doing what the teacher says and don’t lie to anyone. Also I can help by trying to help other kids when they need help in class.
My hopes and dream for the new year is I want to be a better student and be open to learning more. My goal for the new year is to be more flexible with myself because I want to do more stuff in my life that I'm scared of doing. The steps I want to take to achieve my goal is try my best to do extra work because my mom said practice make most perfect. so if I practice I will become a even better student. ReplyDeleteI hope to be able to get to a higher reading level and to keep playing all of the sports that I play. I also hope to be able to clean up my handwriting and to be able to spell more words correctly.
ReplyDeleteI want to work on reaching my goals. For instance, in soccer my goal is to treat everyone like my brother. I hope to reach that goal. Another example is my spelling. First of all, in spelling, I could take it step by step. I'll first practice my contractions and then work on harder words each week.
I can help my community of learners by helping other students when I am ahead. I can help others who are behind catch up. I can do that in all subjects.

ReplyDeleteMy hopes and dreams for the new year is that people won't drive on the street just to kill people on purpose. I want a world that doesn't have global warming. I want to work on helping charities and to help people have a home and a bed to sleep on, and I want other people to also help other people more also. The steps to achieve this task is to start telling people to start helping. Today, all I see is people that only care about themselves. I think we can help our community by seeing if people need anything and do it for them. Maybe that will get other people helping also. A way I also help is making money to donate to kids that need toys through toys for tots.
