mom biliefs its okay to baby via and Auggie. i know this because mom was saying to aAuggie that he didt have to go to school if he didt want to. this shows that mom is leting Auggie do whatever he can wants to do. also mom was baybing Via becausec when via wanted to take the train home mom got worried even though the dad sai yes and she is 15 years old
ReplyDeleteSummer believes that kids shouldn't act mean to August because at Savanna's party she said " he's not a zombie kid" and she didn't like it when kids tried not to touch August.
ReplyDeleteAugust motivation to act road to summer and via and sad is jack will. Jack said he would kill him self if he was August and jacat didn't know Augggie was there be used he change his ofit and he said right in front Augie . And that made Augggie go cry in the bath room aND then he was not fill good he went home and didn't tell them about jack will and he didn't go to school into Monday.
ReplyDeleteThe main problem in Wonder is that Auggie has a disfigured face and almost no one will accept him, but thats just because of his face and how he looks. I know this because in the text when Auggie first started school there were two boys in one seat but there were two seats open next to Auggie. This shows that those kids were afraid to sit next to him because of his face. Also when people sat next to him they made walls with their bags.
ReplyDeleteIn the book wonder I think the illustrations represent August face. I think this because in the drawing the person only has one eye and no other face features. And on August face you can't really see any of his face features like his ears and his nose and mouth. And it says you can only really see his eyes and his eyes are lopsided so one eye is in the right place and the other one isn't. And the one eye in the picture is in the right place. This shows that the illustrations represents August.
ReplyDeleteI think that after hearing Jackwill say Mr. Tushman talked to him Auggie started to believe all his friends had been talked to by Mr. Tushman. This matters to Auggie because he wants true friends. I know this because he said to Summer, "I know Mr. Tushman talked to you." Aso Summer had to show Auggie that she didn't have her fingers and toes crossed when she said Mr. Tushman hadn't talked to hero prove to Auggie that she was telling the truth. Auggie believes Summer truly likes him but he thinks that Jackwill is not his friend.
ReplyDeleteI think the authors message is '' If you accept how you are or accept some one you know will feel better about yourself.'' I know this because August through out the book is showing signs that he still doesn't accept how his face look but I bet if August did accept himself he would be a lot happier. I also know this because if Via accepted August she would have not cared when people stared or whispered, and she wouldn't have hated herself for seeing him through her peephole.
ReplyDeleteSummer believes that it doesn’t matter if you are disfigured you still can be an amazing person. My evidence is that Summer was the only kid to sit at Auggie’s table at lunch and left her friends which took a lot of courage. 2. Summer chose not to be a part of the popular kids group to be Auggie’s friend. She swore to Auggie that she was not told by the principle to be nice to her.That’s a real friend. 3. She was the only kid who thought the plague was fake which meant a lot to Auggie.
ReplyDeleteIn the book wonder summer believe that Savannah is acting to grown up for her age. My first evidence is that Savannah asked Summer where is your boyfriend. I think the answer that summer give to Savannah saying she didn't have a boyfriend shows that summer is not ready to talk about boyfriends. My second evidence is that Savannah said to summer Julian likes you do you think he is cute? Summer respond I guess, summer felt uncomfortable and lied saying that she had to go to the bathroom instead she called her mom to pick her up.
ReplyDeleteJack will motivates Auggie when August heard Jack will talk bad about him August felt sad and thinks he doesn't belong at school and he was mad and sad and was at the school bathroom and was crying his eyes out and that made August feel that Jack will didnt have his back like he thought that made August think different about Jack and Julian also motivates August too cause when he heard about the text that made August upset and Julian trys to make everyone not like August and julian made a joke about dark sidous and his face and that makes Augustsay bad things about himself.
ReplyDeleteThe reason why Auggie was getting mad at Summer was because ever since Auggie heard Jack saying mean stuff about him he questioned his other friends, wondering if they were just like Jack. Also Auggie is going through hard moments with Julian, Jack and his sister Via. Auggie was talking about Jack but Via got mad after he talked about Miranda.

The author's message is that even though you may look different it doesn’t mean your different inside. I know this because even though August has a deformed face he still acts like everyone else. Also August says that he’s the same as everyone else he just doesn’t have a normal face. Another reason is that August has the same feelings as everyone else.
ReplyDeleteThe authors message is if you have a facial disability you are still the same as everybody else. I know this because in the text it said that he is a normal kid that dose normal things. Also he just has a facial disabilities he is normal in every other way.
