  1. One observation I saw is they are big and they have a pointy tail. One question I have would be, how long will they stay in the egg. I noticed that they have spots and more then 9 legs.

  2. My first observation is that everyday the silk worms become more still. The silk is holding them together and keeping them from moving. My second observation is the silk worms worms stiripes are becoming lighter. My 1st question is how big does the larva turn before it turns in to a pupa? My 2nd question is how long does the silk worm stay in pupa before it turns in turns in to an adult moth?

  4. An unanswered question I have about the silkworm is if the silkworms have a heart (earthworms have 5 hearts) and if they do, is it more than one? One change I noticed is that the silkworms have gone from black and hairy to black and white. Another change I noticed is that at first the silkworms were very small but now they're humongous!!!!!

  7. One change I noticed is that the silkworm's have spots on them that I did not see before. Another change I saw was that the silkworms had different feet from top to bottom on the top of the silkworm's leg it looked like a line then a point at the bottom of it's leg it is kind of hard to explain but it looks something like that. towards the bottom of the silkworm it's legs just looks like a mushy ball. And before I did not see that. Those are the changes I saw on the silkworm's!!!

  8. One change is they're getting lighter, and wider. Another change is they have less food, and they're becoming bigger. One question is, how long will they stay in the pupa stage, another question is how many will survive when they become an adult moth? My last question is how do they breathe?

  9. My questions are how do the silkworms make silk? How long are they going to be in the cocoon for? Do they have any bones? The changes I saw were that lots of them got bigger and last time they were a tiny bit smaller and one had really black stripes and last time it did not.

  12. I noticed that the silk worms are eating faster. Another thing I noticed is the silkworms is that there legs are
more visible. my first question is how do they swallow
    so much
and poop once in a while my second question is why do they have such a short life.

  13. One change I noticed is the silkworms are making a lot of silk and before they were not making any silk at all.Another change I noticed about the silkworms is they are eating much much more and before they were barely eating at all.And one question I have is when the silkworms transform into the moth how long do they live for?

  14. I noticed some silkworms got bigger then others. I also saw silk on the mulberry leaves, there was silk on there legs. Some of them had different patterns, there were strips on some of the worms. I have a question if silkworms stay in there cocoon for months?

  15. One thing I noticed about the silkworms is that most of them are very still and skinny. An other thing I noticed is that the silkworms are wrapping silk around their food.one of my question are we're does their silk come from?Another question I have is if there scared of humans because they seem to move really fast when you put them in your hand.

  17. To me, I have not noticed anything about the silkworms except that I think that the bigger silkworms are starting to get there stripes back. My questions are, how long do they stay in eggs, how long do they stay in the pupa stage and why do the big ones have stripes.

  18. The things I noticed that changed is their stripes. At first their stripes were very noticeable, but over the weeks some of the silk worms stripes started to fade. I also noticed that the silkworms are moving around a lot more than when they were little and they are much stronger. My question is how many different kinds of silkworms are there?

  19. I noticed that they have a pointy thing at the back of their body and some of them are really small but they're still are alive but they're walking funny.

  20. The two changes that I have noticed from the silk worms. First is that they have gotten bigger since day 7. Also one of the silk worms has silk on their foot.Second on a lot of the silk worms,I can see their mouths. I can also see their legs, some of them are bigger than others. I believe that some of them are ready for the pus stage. I wonder what kind of silk worms makes yellow cocoons ?

  21. My unanswered questions are were do they come from and how many eggs do they hatch?
The changes I noticed are they grew bigger and they are making silk also they are eating more.

  22. The observations I have made with the silk worm is my teacher Mrs. S. puts two containers on my table and three magnifying glasses so me and my friend can look closer at hem and them eat and let them get on my pencil and make silk. I've noticed the eat and grow larger. Questions I have is how a zebra silkworm is on my pencil and make silk.

  23. The silkworms have stripes on them. The stripes are black and white. Some of them made some silk, most of them are very thick. Some of the silkworms are flexible, because they can bend back. Some of them are fierce.
One unanswered question I have is,how big is pupa?
Another question is,do silkworms make sounds?
One change I noticed was that silkworms made everyday more and more silk.Another change was, more stripes appeared as they grew bigger.

  24. I have two unanswered questions. One is why is a silkworm's life cycle so small? Another question is what weather do silkworms like better, hot or cold. I saw two changes. The first one was the stripes got darker and the silkworms are barely moving or eating.

  25. I want to know how long will they stay in their pupas? Because the silkworms are growing really fast. I have noticed that most that most of the silkworms have dark lines on the back and some have light lines or no lines.

    ReplyDelete
  26. The silkworm is white and black and their eyes are on the top of their head. They are skinny and fat and the silk looks like spider webs.

Why does the silk look like spider webs? Can the silkworms see? Why are the eyes on the top of their head? Which is the female and male?

All of the silkworms are growing. Some are crawling off the napkin. I saw a little poo poo.

  27. One question I have is: what day will the silkworms go into the cocoon? Two changes are they started spinning a lot of silk. Now it is all over the food. The other change I noticed is that they are turning white and I can see their glands.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Some unanswered questions I have are when are they going to turn into pupa and an adult moth? How long are they going to live in all? How long are they going to live once they are adult moths? How do people make silk out of silkworms?

One change I noticed is the silkworms were just tiny eggs in the beginning and now they are full grown larva with stripes and legs and a head. Another change is at the beginning of the larva stage you could barely see their heads. Now you can see almost every detail on their head.
