Veronica is a kid who can keep her feelings inside but at some point has to let them out. For example in the text it said that veronica didn't like the imitation barbie, but didn't want to hurt her uncles feelings so said she loved it but then went to her room and throwed it across the room. Another example is when she lost her barbie dolls head, she kept all of her anger inside for not finding the dolls head, but them she let it out by ponding the ground and screaming. Veronica also never thinks that she is the one who startede the problem. For example in the text it said that Veronica first blamed Martha for losing her barbie dolls head, then she blamed Barbie.
ReplyDeleteAnger motivates Veronica to act the way she does in this story because anger is what made her push Mrtha against the bureau, and anger was what made her yell to Martha that she was a stupid cheater. Veronica that if she hadn't gotton Veronica so MAD then none of this would have happened.
Yes, I have felt the way Veronica felt. Once I really wanted this teddy bear that was sented like strawberry. I had wanted it for more than a month and when I finally got it, it was really boring.
Veronica is a kid who is not spoiled, and she can get mad easily. She doesn't have a lot of money, and so she doesn't get what she wants. When she wants, she doesn't act too good about it. The thing that motivates her to act that way is because she finally gets a Barbie doll and her family is not rich, so she acts like Barbie is, for example going to a really fancy restaurant. Another thing that caused her to act that way is the imitation doll/ which Veronica throws at the wall and calls ugly. I felt the way Veronica has before because one time I asked for a big Lego "Death Star", but I only got Lego "Friends" and girly toys. Later, I learned to accept my toys and what I had.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Veronica is a kid who keeps her feelings in but has to let them out at some point like when she forced a smile at Uncle Rudy but broke her immatation Barbie in her room.
DeleteShe acts this way because it looks like her and doesn't look like Barbie.
DeleteVeronica is a kid with a temper that needs to learn to keep it under control because sometimes her temper can take control over her. I know this because when Martha tried to switch their barbies Veronica got really mad and pushed Martha against the bureau and yelled at her "you stupid cheater!" That was a time her temper got control of her. Another example is when Veronica got the imitation barbie for Christmas instead of the real barbie. She tried to hide the fact that it was not a real barbie, it was just an imitation barbie but when she went to her room she broke the imitation barbie and threw it at the wall. I would have just been a little bit disappointed and move on with my life. What motivates Veronica to behave the way she does in the story is that she is not spoiled at all and so her barbie is very special to her. I know she is not spoiled because at Christmas time Veronica only mentioned the imitation barbie that she got as a gift and nothing else. And yes I have felt the way Veronica has in the story. Once I let my friend borrow a toy I had and it came back broken and I got really upset. I let my temper control me and like Veronica I shouldn't let my temper take control over me.
ReplyDeleteveronica is a kid who has a temper that can sometimes get out of control.I know this because when her barbie head come of she yelled at martha because she try to steal her doll so she push martha againsit the wall this shows that verronica has a temper that she cant control.Other example that verronica has a temper is when her uncle rudy got her a fake doll she toss her fake doll up againsit the wall and said you stuipid thing this shows that veronica has a temper that she can not control
ReplyDeleteVeronica is the type of kid that only cares about pretty dolls and rich people such as her Uncle Rudy.Veronica isn't responsible I know this because she made Barbies head fly off and she cracked her other dolls head and made one of her eyelashes come off.Barbie motivates Veronica do the wrong thing,I know this because she tempted Veronica to push Martha against the bureau.I can relate to Veronica's feeling about the barbie because once me and my friend Nicole were playing house and we brought our American girl dolls and mine was new because I brought it the day before. When the day was ending and it was time to go home Nicole tried to switch our dolls and when I noticed I pushed down the slide and she fell on her arm.
ReplyDeleteVeronica is the type of kid who can keep her feelings in for a limited time but has to let them out at some point. For example when her uncle Rudy got her the immitation Barbie she hugged him and tried not to cry and forced a smail but in her room she threw the immitation Barbie at the wll and chipped its forehead and broke its eyelash, plus she started crying. Another example is when Veronica realized that her Baries head was missing she kept her feelings in and started looking for the head but then she just started pounding her fists on the ground and started crying. Lastly when she and Martha were looking for Barbies head Martha said she had to go and Veronica started screaming at Martha saying that this was all her fault. I think that anger motivates Veronica to act this way. For example Veronica is poor and she doesn't have that many things so for example when Martha tried to take her Barbie she pushed Martha into the burea beacause she doesn't have as many things as Martha like Martha has two Barbies and on Ken and Veronica only has one Barbie doll. Also when she threw the immitation Barbie at the wall it was because she was angry that her uncle Rudy got her the immitation Barbie. Lastly when Veronica was yelling at Martha saying it was all her fault that she lost Barbies head it was because she was angrythat Martha tried to steal her doll and she said that if Martha didn't try to steal the doll then none of this would have happened when it was partly Veronica's fault to. I can connect to this because 2 years ago when I went to Brasil I really wanted a Monster High doll and I saw one at this little stand where a man was selling dolls. So I asked my mom if I could get it when I opened it at home I realized it wasn't the origanal brand and I hid it under the bed so no one would know about it.
ReplyDeleteI meant smile
DeleteI meant one Ken
DeleteVeronica is a kind of kid that gets mad really easy and quickly. An example is when she threw Martha against the bureau. The thing that motivated Her to do that was her Barbie doll and Veronica wasn't very rich but pretended that the Barbie was rich. An example is when her friend Martha were playing dolls and they went to expensive restaurants and went to 2 amusement parks. One time on Christmas I wanted a mine craft stuffed animal but my grandparents gave me a mine craft toy which was hard as a rock, I got so upset that I screamed in my own pillow and threw the pillow all around my bedroom. Also Veronica didn't like the gift that her "rich" uncle gave her it was a imitation Barbie doll and threw the imposter ugly Barbie doll against the wall and her head was chipped off and her eyelash was ripping off.
ReplyDeleteVeronica is a defensive kind of kid. I know this because when she was at Martha’s house she got defensive and called Martha a “stupid cheater” and pushed her against the wall and left. She was also blaming everything on everyone else. The thing that motivates Veronica to act the way she was acting is her Barbie. I know this because the Barbie was kind of controlling veronica in a way because if she loses it or someone tries to take it she goes crazy and doesn’t realize her actions by blaming everything on everybody else. For example in the text it said that Veronica pushed Martha against the wall and did not take responsibility for her actions. The time I felt like Veronica was when I got this really cool Minecraft Lego Nether set that took me 1 1/2 hours to make and right when I got upstairs I dropped it and it broke. >8-{o>
ReplyDeleteVeronica is the kind of kid who doesn't get that many things but wants a lot and always talks about money. Veronica doesn't have much money and has a temper.for example when Martha tried to steal her Barbie because she had pushed Martha against the bureau. Veronica behaves this way because when her uncle got her a imitation Barbie for Christmas but,she had not accepted it because it wasn't the real thing. Barbie had not turned out the way Veronica had planned it to be and it was going to like when once I got a Lego set and it seemed so cool but it wasn't all it was cut out to be.
ReplyDeleteVeronica is the kind of kid who gets mad really quickly. I know this because before even giving it a chance, she threw the fake doll at the wall I also know this because when Martha tried to switch the dolls Veronica got immediately. I think Barbie inspired Veronica to act this way I know this because Veronica wanted to act rich after she got Barbie. I also know this because Barbie motivated Veronica to get to mad when Barbie's head fell off. I can relate to Veronica because I really wanted a Wii and then I finally got one.
ReplyDeleteveronica is a kid who is not spoieled and has not a lot of stuff and dreames of to become rich like her uncle and when she played with her barbies she sai ken is more rich. Veronica behaves the way she does because she does not have babies like Barbie and.once I had a lpod and had it for 2 years and then the ipod stopped.
ReplyDeleteA character trait to describe Veronica is someone who has a temper. I know this because in Barbie, Veronica got really mad at Martha who tried to swap dolls without Veronica knowing, but that didn't work out because Veronica found out and pushed her towards the bureau. She yelled " You stupid cheater!" She also blamed Martha and yelled at her again when they were searching for the missing Barbie doll head. The motivation of the actions that Veronica expressed was Barbie's beauty. Her beauty is what attracted Veronica. Barbie's beauty is what caused Martha to try and get Veronica's Barbie, which lead to Veronica's physical activity. I have a self to text connection when I got a LEGO set that was amazing and a few days after I built it, it dropped and then the pieces had scattered across the room and then when I rebuilt it, so many pieces were missing from my masterpiece.
ReplyDeleteVeronica is a creative kid because in the text when she is playing with her Barbie doll she was like: "The king would die for me than money." The way she behaved in the beginning was angry, happy and sad. I know this because when her uncle said he bought her a Barbie Veronica expected a real Barbie instead she got a fake one. She was happy because when her uncle and his wife came to visit the wife said she has a surprise for Veronica, then she pulled out a Barbie with three sets of clothes. Then she ran to her room and picked up both Barbies and started playing dolls. She was sad because when her uncle gave her a Barbie she expected a real Barbie and then she ran to her room jumped on her bed and looked at the Barbie. Then a tear came down her cheek. When I was watching TV the commercial was on and it showed these Star Wars figurines so I got some of them for Christmas and when I started playing I was like "This is boring." so they ended up in the everything bin.
ReplyDeleteVeronica is the kind of kid who when she doesn't get what she wants she gets upset, for example when her Uncle Rudy bought her the imitation Barbie because he's the richest uncles out of all Veronicas uncles. Veronica tried to look happy and hugged her Uncle Rudy but when she went inside her room she threw the doll agents the wall, who Veronica called in an imposter but then felt ashamed that she threw Barbie doll that she picked it up seeing the forehead was chipped and one of the eyelashes was missing. It motivated Veronica to behave this way in the story because she's been wanting her own Barbie {thats real} for years and when her Uncle Rudy got Veronica the fake Barbie doll she was upset because she wanted the original Barbie doll.
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way as Veronica felt because it all started when it was Wednesday on March 4th 2015 when I got this little bouncy ball with plastic little stars in the ball but my brother really wanted it too, but it was mine we argued then my dad took it away and is going to throw it away.
Veronica is a kid that really cares about money. When Veronica and Martha were playing with their Barbies, she was talking about how The Ken doll was so rich. Veronica was talking about how her Uncle Rudy was richer than all of her uncles combined. Veronica threw her imitation doll at the wall. She threw her fake Barbie because she said it was the worst kind of doll, an imitation. Veronica said it was ugly and instead of calling the imitation doll a fake doll, she called it The Ugly Doll. Once I got an R2 D2 toy for Christmas. I started to play with it, I wanted to make it go forward. I knew I had all the batteries in and was using the instructions correctly, but it still didn't work. It didn't start working until about 2 months later. It only worked for a little while.
ReplyDeleteVeronica is a kid who is speen.I know this because when Martha tried to switch in the dolls instead of telling Martha that she could play with it, she pushed her against the bureau. She also screamed at Martha saying"you stupid cheater". Veronica also threw the imitation doll at the wall so hard that it got a crack and it's eyelash was falling off. In the story the prettiness of the barbie doll motivates Veronica to act badly. I know this because when the prettier barbi's head fell off, she asked Martha to help her find the head. After Martha had to leave Veronica shouted at her it was all your fault. I have once felt like Veronica when I first got this board game called Mancala. I didn't let anyone play with it besides my friend. I learned that I had to share with others and not let objects change me.
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of kid is Veronica ? Veronica is a kid that angry issues. I know this because when Martha was helping Veronica find the head to her doll. When Martha told her that she has to go home Veronica started yelling at her.
ReplyDeleteWhat motivates Veronica to behave the way she does in the story. Veronica behaves the way she does in the story because she is motivated by money. When Veronica got her new doll she acted rich and fancy. Connecting the way Veronica acted to myself. Made me think about when I was six years old I acted like I was super rich.
Veronica is a dramatic kid. She cried for a long time after the Barbie's head fell off. The Barbie led to most of her feelings in the story. I have felt the same way as Veronica in the story. I lost a piece to my Lego once. I also cried.
ReplyDeleteVeronica is a creative kid, I know this because after her uncle gave her the Barbie she ran up to her room and got out her imitation doll. She made them talk to each other and Barbie married the king. Another example is when she went to her friend Martha's house, Veronica brought her Barbie over too because Martha had two barbies and one Ken. With Martha their barbies and Ken went to magic mountain and ate at an expensive restuarant.
ReplyDeleteVeronica behaves the way she does because of her new Barbie and the need of a new barbie. I know this because in the beginning Veronica throws the imitation doll across the room because she wanted a real barbie not a fake one. Another example is at Martha's house, Veronica pushed Martha up against the bureau and called her a stupid cheater because Martha tried to switch barbies. But the main reason is because Veronica wanted the better barbie.
I once got a make your own crayon kit for one of my birthdays and it didn't work, even after the 5th try.
Veronica is a dramatic kid. I know this because of when Veronica got mad at Martha and pushed her and called her a thief, even though Martha was only probably trying to hold Barbie. Veronica behaved the way she did, because she had wanted one for years, and it was a very important thing to Veronica. I remember how I used to have a green jacket and it was my favorite thing that I owned, but one day I lost it at school and that was very sad.
ReplyDeleteVeronica is a kid that doesn't get as much stuff as other kids. I know this because her mother said to her brother that he was spoiling her and ended up laughing. This shows that Veronica is a kid that isn't spoiled. In the beginning of the story Veronica is a kid that was hoping to get a Barbie for a Christmas present as long as she remembered. In the middle of the story Veronica was so upset that her new Barbie doll's head broke off. She felt it was everyone's fault except hers. This shows that Veronica is a kid that doesn't get what she wants. If she ever gets what she wanted then if anyone tries to take it she will overreact. I want to connect this to my own life. When I was little I loved my ball and when my brother touched it I got super angry at him.
ReplyDeleteVeronica is a very dramatic kid. I know this because of when Veronica got mad at Martha and pushed her and called her a thief even though Martha was probably only trying to hold Barbie. Veronica acted that way because she had wanted a Barbie for years and it was a very important thing to her. I remember how I used to have a blue jean jacket and it was my favorite thing that I owned but then one day I lost it at school.
ReplyDeleteVeronica is the type of girl who wants to be rich. Veronica can only control her temper for a limited amount of time. I know this because when her uncle got her the imitation doll, she still hugged him and when she got back to her room she threw the imitation doll at the wall and chipped its head. I think the thing that motivates Veronica to act is the Barbie doll because as soon as Veronica got the Barbie, things went wrong. For example, when Veronica got that doll, she started to get really angry. For example, Martha tried to switch the dolls and Veronica pushed Martha into a wall. This reminds me of when I got my Nintendo and I lost it on the bus.
ReplyDeleteVeronica doesn't feel good about herself. She wants to look like Barbie and not the fake Barbie who looks like her. Veronica does not want to look like Veronica.
ReplyDeleteI didnt even read the fuccing book
ReplyDeleteVeronica is motivated to act this way towards the imitation doll because she believes that Barbie deserve the better life just because she is considered pretty. The reason Veronica considers her pretty is because society told her that in order to be pretty you have to be white and can't have colored skin.-Y.C.C
