One of my goals is to get better at reading and get more fluent with spelling. And I want to make a wheelchair access in our school. The steps I’m going to take to accomplish these hopes and dreams are practicing with reading. For spelling I will practice and I’m going to talk to Ms. Jackie about the wheelchair access.
ReplyDeleteMy hopes and dreams for the New Year are to improve my acting so I can become an actress. I want to become an actress because it's fun, playful, adventurous, I can pretend to be someone else and put myself into their shoes.
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to be better at reading because the more I read the smarter I get. I get smarter because reading helps with every subject, math, writing, science, drama, baking, music, art, and even speaking.
The steps I will take to achieve this goal are: Go to the library more often, read more complicated books, read a lot every day, think very deeply into my book, and think about every paragraph very deeply.
We can help our community of learners in the classroom and in our school in the New Year by giving everybody a bit more homework different types of homework and they should read a bit longer every day to help them become better in every subject to become a stronger student.
This year I was saving money for homeless people, so my hope and dream is to help these people and see the smiles on their faces. Next year I want to be a better reader because I want learn about other places I didn’t know about and I will be in high school I will be the smartest student. I read everyday i got smart and a better write because you read you see the letter then know what to spell. The steps I will take are reading the dictionary, reading to my mother and my father, and going to the park, reading there and then playing. I will help my

My hopes and dreams for next year are :that I am a super good student, help causes that I think are reasonable, be kind , and more. Some goals I have are : don't hug my dog because it makes him stressed, don't repeat what I've already said multiple times in my writing, become better at standard division algorithms , and get to get to really high reading levels. I can reach these goals by : trying to remind myself every time I try to hug my dog he doesn't like it,mark down something I said in my writing and that will be the only time I say it, practice standard division algorithms a lot, and work a lot on my comprehension of books. We can help our community of learners in are classroom and our school in the New Year by studying,reading,writing,and doing math with people and donating materials.
ReplyDeleteMy hope for the New Year is for Donald Trump to do NICE things like help poor people and let people of all cultures live here in America. Also he should not build a wall because you can just go under it. My dream for the New Year is to have a great school year that is left and be prepared and happy and not nervous for 5th grade.
ReplyDeleteMy dreams and hopes for the new year are I get better at the standard division algorithm.I will try to do that by practicing a lot also by asking my parents for help.My next hope is that my cat does not die.I will try to prevent that by making sure he doesn't eat plastic.My last hope is that NYC gets more wheelchair friendly. I will try to do that by writing a letter to the mayor .

ReplyDeleteMy hope and dream for the new year is that we should do everything we can to stop global warming. We can help by picking up trash and putting in the trash can and reusing things. I think the main problem are fossil fuels they're wrecking our planet. Also we are destroying are planet as well because all of our electronics rely on fossil fuels:).
ReplyDeleteA goal I really think I should work on is writing because I have a hard time putting my thoughts down on paper. I'm going to try when I'm writing to just write anything and see if that works. And just put down my ideas about what I'm thinking.
We can help people in the class by not encouroging them to do the wrong thing.For example if a kid is being naughty or talking back to the teacher if we let them be say "it's going to be OK",that's basically saying to them it's OK to act this way. It's not. Also if someone is having a problem you can ask them what's wrong and try to help them. We should be a loving, inclusive and kind and diverse community!
AND THAT'S HOW I WANT TO START THE YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
My goals for 2017 are:
ReplyDelete1. I need to work on improving my writing. I need to work on making sense using punctuation, and writing longer pieces. I also need on focusing when I'm writing.
2. I have to get used to work in class a lot more so I can do what I need to do in writing and finishing my articles and writing pieces.
3. I need to start reading books that are 1 level higher than me so I can become a better reader.
My hopes and dreams are:
1. I hope that Trump knows what he is doing because he has some dangerous people by his side and they can tell him to do bad things.
2. I hope my 4th grade year is going to be good and have good grades.

My hopes and dreams for the NEW YEAR'S is I want to do better in school and work as hard as I can and pay attention in class. My hopes and dreams are to help the environment. I was thinking maby clean a park or street with another school. A goal I want to work on is writing because I don't like writing,so l want to work on it even more.

DeleteMy hope for the new year is to learn how to read better and get deep into the book and come up with big ideas with evidence from the txt not from my head. My dream for the new year is to be ready to go to 5th grade and I don't want to be the only kid in the class that doesn't know there division facts and I want to get really good at math, reading and writing and being focus on the rug and not letting my eyes wonder all around the room when I should be looking at the teacher and listening to what the teacher is talking about because it is important.

ReplyDeleteMy dreams and hopes for the new year are to be better at sports and being a better reader and mastering the drums and being a better artist. How I can achieve these goals is by practicing the drums every day.Reading more often and drawing a lot more. I will also try my best to play more outdoor activities.
ReplyDeleteIn 2017 I want to get better at writing because right now I am struggling. I want to be able to write an article with no sweat. My plan to get better is to practice. Im going to bring my writers notebook home over the brake and write about all the things that happened. I'm exited about the new year because I think I will grow during it a lot and get better at my writing.

ReplyDeleteMy first goal for 2017 is to be a level W. The reason I want to be a level W is because on my last reading assesment I knew I could do better and it would raise my comprehention level. My second goal is to become more fit and healthy. the reason for this is because I have gymnastics and it's getting harder to do the skills when i'm gainning as well. My last and final goal is to go to bed earlier because I have a bad habbit of getting to school late especially that my sister's in middle school and we have to drop her of first. those are my three goals.
ReplyDeleteSome of my goals are to become better at math because i am a little behind on the chicken race so i want to study more.My other goal is to become even better at soccer because i was moved a to a age group above my age group so i have to work extra hard.I wish Briten would join the EU again and the political situation would end and the war with ISIS would be ended because it's useless sending men to die.I wish i could go to a soccer game of my favorite soccer team play it's biggest enemy Dortmund.Bayern VS Dortmund(I hope Bayern wins).
ReplyDeleteMy hope is that the city will make more shelters for the homeless. I want that because it hurts to imagine me in their shoes. My goal is to make people feel better when they're sad. I will do this by asking them what's wrong or tell a teacher. I would like to help keep the school more sanitary for my school mates by picking up garbage. I am working on improving my volcabulary to be a better writer. My other goal is to ask our princebal if we can have better foods to serve at lunch. I find that some foods they serve at schools are greasy and unhealthy.

My goals are to improve my reading level to a level V and practice my handwriting every day. In order to improve my football skills, I will practice throwing the football and catching it so I can get better. I will help our community of learners in our school and our classroom by encouraging others to focus on their own goals and support them in achieving them.
ReplyDeleteMy hopes is to get into a good soccer team with a great coach this season at ASO and not to rush to catch up the schedules during the school years. My goals are to be a better soccer player, a better writer and also be able to do more by myself.
ReplyDeleteI will try to be a better soccer player by practicing a lot after I finish my school work. I will try to be a better writer by changing my mindset and writing more everyday.
I used to feel that writing is very boring and difficult comparing to reading and playing soccer. It is one of the tasks I really don’t like to do. I guess because I treat writing as a task, I really don’t like to write at all. I had tried to avoid to write anything. My mom would get upset with me. And I was forced to write something. This year I have gotten to do few writing projects. I feel that I need more practice on writing, because it has taken me a lot time to get my writing done. Then left me no time to do other stuff I enjoy. More and more I realize that writing could be fun sometimes, especially if I am not in a rush and not distracted to play.
I also feel that I should read more nonfiction books or editorial articles which express the author’s ideas and opinions from the facts. It should help me about my writing, especially the writing projects. I like to express my opinions and explain why I think that way.
I think I should really try to finish my homework at after school program during the school days. Then I have time to do more writing, reading and practice soccer. I think we can help the class by changing our mindset of school “work” by not thinking of it as work.
My hope is to be better at writing and reading. What I can do to be a better reader is to read EVERY SINGLE DAY and to read harder books.My Dream is to become someone that can make people feel better when they re having trouble calming down and I also want to be someone who TRY'S to make NYC clean by picking up garbage from the floor and cleaning up my mess after I have ate. My goal is to keep our school clean and to keep pushing myself to become a better reader and writer. You should also study your vocabulary words, multiplication, and division.
ReplyDeleteMy dreams and hopes for 2017 are that no one will ever change just because someone told them to or because everyone else is changing. You should always stay you. And are for people to but a stop on bullying and be nice for a change. I see kids getting made fun of and pushed around and no is one doing anything about it. Bullying is a very bad problem and we need to put a stop to it! Some of my goals are to always be there when my friends or family need me (or my teacher or neighbors). And be more generous and open and nice to everyone I meet and know.
