Character Parade
Name the book and character you chose for our Character Parade tomorrow. Describe how your character looks and acts. How does your character’s physical appearance and actions show their personality? What character trait would you use to describe your character? Explain your answers with details.

The title of the book I choose is, The Babysitters Club MaryAnne Saves The Day. The character I choose is Stacey Mcgill. My character wears a striped shirt, a denim skirt, blue leggings, blue leg warmers, sneakers and hoop earrings. Stacey acts very happy but sometimes she gets left out because she has diabetes. Her friends eat candy and she’s not allowed to. Stacey always her hair out. Some pieces are out of place. She is friendly and easy going. Her hair shows that she is not uptight. The character trait I would use to describe Stacey is very relaxed. She doesn’t yell and she is calm. Her friends got into an argument and she stayed calm. Stacey didn’t want to take sides because she didn’t want to loose either of her friends.

DeleteMy book is called calvin and hobbes i am go ing to be calvin. Calvin looks like a normal kid but he is very funny and silly also hobbes too. Calvin just wants to be very funny and he is very funny. I would say that Calvin VERY FUNNY and some times he does SUPPER CRAZZY stuff .

DeleteI chose Despereaux Tilling from the book The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo. He is a small mouse with ginormous ears and huge eyes. He was born with his eyes open, and has a red string to hold a sewing needle to his waist. He wields the sewing needle like a knight with a sword. He jumps on and over mouse traps and gave a piece of cheese to the rats. He is brave and finds fun in things other mice look at with fear and disgust, like sliding on a staircase and reading a book, while other mice eat the book. A character trait I would use to describe Despereaux would be brave and/or daring because he fought a rat and ventured into the open and talked to humans. Despereaux looks small and weak, but cut off a rat’s tale and jumped a mouse trap.

DeleteMy book is the ramona series my character is similar to me she is the younger I am to but she has short brown hair just like me and she is funny.I would describe my character nice sometimes she usually left out but not all the time.She is sweet has a funny kind of family.

DeleteI am going to be Rollo Tookus from the Timmy Failure series. Rollo is fat and study A lot. Thus, he is short, and reads A lot. He always wear (he has only worn two other things) a Stanford shirt, black pants and shoes. he is also very smart, so he gets good grades (A+). he is also friendly. (=(=(=

DeleteMy character is Kai from the Lego Ningago and the way he dresses is like he wears a ninja clothing. Kai acts as a ninja. He works together with the other ninjas including Zane. He also has a sister, too. My trait for Kai is courageous because he fights a little bit violent but also fights dangerous enemies.

ReplyDeleteShe wears jeans and a red and white stripy shirt with sneakers and a ponytail and a red bucket on her belt she also has bangs.She acts quickly and efficiently and unexpectedly finding her own path.
Her bucket and its contents show her resourcefulness she wears sneakers which would help her move quickly and efficiently ponytails keep her hair out of her face if she’s running. She doesn’t wear a skirt which also helps her run.
Her personality is resourceful and brave, because she’s always using the things in her bucket to quickly do things and help her team fight scary (adult) bad guys.

Melody personality is she hangs out with her best,bets friend Lin her american name is Grace,(melody always been friends with her but she doesn't play with any one else).
I like the book because it's really,really entresting and also this book inspires me because it inspires me to make new friends.

ReplyDeleteQ:Name the book and character you chose for the character day parade tomorrow?I'm going to be Lucy from The Lion,The Witch and The Wardrobe and the book is by C.S lewis and the reason i'm being Lucy is because she is kind,sweet,intelligent,and is always herself another reason I want to be Lucy is because she told the truth to her siblings and they didn't believe her but she kept on telling them it was true and the reason I said that is because she never gave up or lost her courage!

Q:How is your characters physical appearance and actions show their personality?My character Lucy is nice and you could tell because when she talks it's calm and gentle voice and when you look at her on what she wears its bright and makes you think that she's a nice person and you want to be friends with them!
Q:What character trait would you use to describe your character!I think Lucy is calm,brave,kind,and adventurous because in the book she wasn't afraid to explore a new world then tell 3 other people who might think she's crazy or lying or just fooling around!

My book is Whatever After Beauty Queen. My character is Abby, the big sister. On the cover of my book, Abby has a purple dress, a silver tiara, and a rose. Whatever After is a series about a girl and her brother who fall into a magic mirror and mess up fairy tales. On the cover of each book, Abby is always dressed as the princess in that fairy tale. She can sometimes be pretty bossy, she's always telling her brother what to do so that they fix the fairy tale. She always telling the characters in the fairy tale what to do. Abby never says please when she tells people what to do.
ReplyDeleteMy book is named Mandy. It is a book from the Julie Andrews collection and Julie Andrews wrote it. The character that I’m dressing up as is Mandy. She is a happy spirited, adventurous kind of a girl who is also an orphan and wants a life of her own. She is a bright ten year old who seeks to have her own home outside the orphanage. I would describe Mandy as kind, loving, adventurous and secretive.
ReplyDeleteOne day, Mandy climbs the stone wall that surrounds her village and she finds a secret cottage that she can call home. Mandy’s actions of climbing the stone wall and finding the cottage show that she is an adventurous little girl and the fact that she didn’t tell anyone about the cottage shows she is secretive.
I know she is loving because she fixes up the cottage and feeds the rabbits, deer and birds that live around the cottage bread.
One day her orphan friend Sue follows her into “her cottage” and has to swear to never tell anyone about it. Sue ends up saving Mandy’s life by knowing about the cottage.......
It sounds like a good book.
DeleteI chose Darth paper from Darth paper strikes for my character parade character. Darth paper is a finger puppet that is Origami paper and he acts like a jerk and always make fun of people and talks funny.

DeleteFor the character parade I will be Clous from the series of unfortunate events. I want to be clous because he is very inteligant and knows almost every word in the english language because he reads so much. He dose not live any where specific because some one named Count Olaf is always trying to steel his and his siblings will [because there parents were rich and they died]. count olaf kills all the relitives Clous and his siblings stay with and they have two keep living with different relitives. he were's glasses and black cloths and he dosen't realy has a sence of humer And he would do anything to save his sisters Violet and sunny.

The book I chose is Football Genius and the character I chose from it is named Seth Hallway. He wears an Atlanta Falcons jersey because he is a wide-receiver for the Atlanta Falcons. He is a big person who is usually drinking a Diet Coke. When he is running from the locker room to the field he likes to jump up and down because he is excited and a little nervous, and he likes to see himself on the Jumbotron. He talks in a deep voice and loudly so people can hear him. He is not very forgiving because he won't give people second chances. He gets to practice every day two hours early. He likes to be there early so he can get as much practice in as he can and because that also shows respect to the coaches. His most important character trait is that he notices a lot of things, and is always looking out for other people's mistakes. The book is also about a kid named Troy trying to fit in and he is being bullied by a kid named Jamie on his football team. What I learned from this book is that you should always try to stand up for other people.
ReplyDeleteI am going to be MiMi from the book Just Grace for the character day parade. Mimi looks like any normal kid but she does act we serious. She will get very upset when she does get her way. Mimi physical appearance is she's skinny and short. She wears simple things like a long sleeve shirt, bell bottom pants and regular shoes and wears her hair in 2 ponytails. MiMi character trait is serious unless she's with her best friend Grace. When she's with grace she is very outgoing but still serious at the same time.

ReplyDeleteHarry Potter wears big round nerdy glasses, a long robe, sometimes wand, sometimes broomstick and a red and yellow scarf.
He is pretty bad in school. By bad I mean he gets in trouble. He is always walking around the school at night. In different books, say the last book, he's tall. In the first book, he is as tall as me. He has black hair and he is very thin. He has white skin. He has a lightning scar on his forehead. He is nerdy.
He does magic and talks with Hagrid. He likes to get in trouble and play quiddage.
I am GOING TO BE RAMONA FROM A BOOK CALLED RAMONA'S WORLD SHE IS ALWAYS HAPPY AND I KNOW THAT BECAUSE SHE ALWAYS HAS A SMILE ON HER FACE AND SHE HAS SHORT HAIR AND LIKES TO WEAR JEANS AND SHE IS ALWAYS JOYFUL BECAUSE IN THE MORNING SHE ALWAYS HAS A BIG SMILE ON HER FACE. I THINK THAT ONE OF HER TRAIT IS HUMBLE, SHE SEEMS LIKE A HUMBLE PERSON, BECAUSE SHE IS ALWAYS PLEASANT AND POLITE, SHES'S ALWAYS SAYING HI TO EVERYONE, AND EVERYONE SEEMS TO LIKE HER. SHE'S SOMEONE I WOULD LIKE AS A FRIEND.
ReplyDeleteI am going to be Sam Gribley from My Side of the Mountain. Sam is a boy who has longish brown hair, and wears clothes that is made from animal fur\ skin, that he made himself. Sam acts brave because not everyone would run away by themself. Sam is brave because not everyone would burn a tree to make a house. He is really smart because he learned to live in the forest by himself in the winter. He found and made his own food and found a sanctuary. He climbed a mountain to get a baby peregrine falcon and trained it to be his hunter. The falcon’s name is Frightful, who is his best friend.
ReplyDeleteThe name of the book I read was wayside school. I am going to be the main character in the story her name is Joy. She is the most prettiest student in Ms. Jewel's class. Her hair is always nice with a high bun. She likes to wear her favorite blue shirt and pants. Joy is very bossy at times she made a boy Carry her lunch I did not think that was fair. I admire how she protects her friends I am the same with mine I do not allow people to tease them. Joy is wise one day she forgot her lunch home so she trick another student out of theirs. I thought that was cool I would have done the same thing. Just Kidding! I will never do that I would have ate tye school lunch. Even though Joy made big mistakes I choose her as my character because she is a very good friend and smart. I can't wait until tomorrow. Love Akeelah/ Joy
